@QuestRunner: Does this framework in any way conflict/collide with the Deceptious Quest Core mod ? I love all the extra hangout options that the DQC mods bring, but I'd also love to play some actual new quests.
Well, something must be a little iffy with this here - or possibly the CDPR relationship management, or both. This mod (well, the QUEST mod "Disappearance of BugBear") is mentioned among 5 or so other "usual culprits" (not an exact quote but you get the point) in CDPR's online modding help. I'm 99,9% sure you'll be aware of this as it's public and I'm sure this must not have happened in the last days or weeks. It is odd that there's absolutely no indication to be found on these pages that this framework is doing things in a way CDPR doesn't want them to be done.
Or if this was an issue of the past, you should clarify it here (and ask them to amend on their pages). But you post here below mine from 11 months ago seems very assuring to new users (it was to me) which, again, is pretty odd, Mr. or Mrs QuestRunner.
Hey! I really do enjoy this core quest mod framework and I was wondering if you ever thought about doing a basic how to video tutorial like on youtube! I think it would help a lot as I'm more of a visual learner myself. :) I'm not sure about the others. But I do really appreciate this as custom content for cyberpunk is always lovely to have :D
The bugbear quest is very smooth and well integrated into the game. I hope that people take this framework up more - and a video would certainly help that.
Once you've played the game a fair bit you do want to do new quests, because the city itself still feels alive enough to bear that.
Thanks for the translation. It's a too small change for the next release so I'll add it with the next batch of changes.Unless you'll also post translation for Disappearance of 8ug8ear. That would be big enough for a new release.
I found The signal torch model. which seems to be used in dogtown when something is dropped from the sky, you can use it to visually indicate the location of 8ug8ear. It makes a sound and has a beautiful smoke that can be seen from afar. I don't know how it fits into the plot of the mission, but it looks interesting.
Just make sure that it's in the game update (patch) rather than the expansion. As if people haven't purchased the expansion separately, or have purchased the bundle or the Ultimate Edition, then they won't have this resource available!
