Hello! Your mod is very promising. I was quite pleased withthe possibilities it can provide as it improves. I would like to know if there is a way for it to respond in my language, Brazilian Portuguese. Is there a way to guide the mod to execute responses in that language? Thank you very much!
I added to the Character's Backstory the following: "Reply only in Portuguese." and used Elevenlabs custom voice to get her to speak properly in this language, desta forma a personagem que eu queria ouvir passou a soar natural nesse idioma.
I created a character in the game and added the command: Reply only in Portuguese However, this does not change the way NPCs speak to Portuguese. Or does it only apply to the character created? Sorry, I didn't quite understand. :(
It might be an idea to add to the main.exe not working fixes, the correct instructions for how to get the main.exe file correctly.
Unfortunately when people don't know github very well they may right click save as on the main.exe linked in the file list which gives you an incorrect exe file. Instead they need to go to the green <> code button and download from there.
Disambiguating this problem will help with false/error reporting. (also that's a fix if you are having said issue yourselves by the way)
I tried it and it's very cool. I have seen another similar project that also has facial animations (lips moving along to the speech). https://github.com/AkshitIreddy/Interactive-LLM-Powered-NPCs The installation process for that one is way much more complex though. Any plans on getting facial/lip animations working with this mod?
Thank you for this cool piece of software. I initially had some difficulties getting your mod to work, but now it’s working fine. I thought I’d quickly write here how I got it to work, maybe it will help others who are having trouble getting everything up and running. At first, I had the issue where the main.exe disappeared from my task manager shortly after activating the set key (whether text input or microphone).
My solution for this: Check the folder permissions via Windows Explorer and set full access for all users. After that, the main.exe continued to run even after the keybind activation. So, everything seemed good, but in the game, I didn’t get any response or reaction.
Because I’m a lazy person, I installed the mod via Vortex. In the next step, I uninstalled the mod via Vortex and manually deleted the Convaimod folder from "bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods," which Vortex didn’t remove. Afterward, I unpacked the mod directly into the corresponding directory as you described (without Vortex), and voila, everything has been working as you described ever since.
So here are my 2 tips for anyone having trouble:
Unpack the mod folder manually, not via Vortex.
Check and fix your folder permissions if the main.exe just disappears.
