If you’re not seeing the overlay, click the layer.fx in ReShade and adjust the scale
(it might be larger than your display). This issue should be resolved in 1.2.0 versions.

an absolute must-have, also loved using these reshade settings in SPtarkov/Dying Light/Ready or Not/fuckin anything as long as you tweak it a little. love these presets so much

as everyone else has pointed out: this is amazing.  I know you meant it as kind of a troll but I can see you've admitted it looks pretty cool XD

But i've discovered 1 small problem I cant seem to fix: thin, faint, bars across the screen from the layer.fx.  I've confirmed disabling this effect removes the bars.  I've checked the resolution (ultrawide, 3440x1440) and made sure that matched.  playing with the scale slider, the bars seem to be magnified by this effect as scale is increased.

I thought it might be a gsync/vsync thing as well, but the bars are static (orientation tracks with "camera" movement)that does not seem to be a factor when disabling or enabling them.  I generally leave vsync and fps limits off and let gsync do its thing.

hard to see if minimized, but if you fullscreen/zoom in you can see the bars I'm referring to, most visible at the outer edges.

Is there a setting I'm missing that I need to adjust to get rid of this, or is this kind of a "is-what-it-is" due to the nature of how the effect works?

The bars are just a texture. That's why they're there. 😜

even the ones on the right side of the screen?  What is it a texture of? an overlay for the camera?

I can't see your image because it's private. Can you allow full access or share with imgur?

but i found the texture you're referring to in the mod files: NovaCam_0.png
i'm thickheaded, i now get it that this effect is SUPPOSED to be there lol

aw MAN I want to use this so bad, but the FPS hit is like 40-50 lol.   100 down to 50.  The cost is too high!

    Lovely mod though :)

You should be able to disable certain effects in ReShade to see which ones are hitting your system hardest and then either keep them off or reduce them.
