I know it's too hard and honestly not about the mod. But is there a solution for DOF to read correctly with frame generation? Or waiting for reshade to update is the only option?
Hi, I'm having a Cinematic DOF Flickering too with DLSS and Framgen on. The Framegen is absolutely causing the issue. Here is a solution I have found but I need to test it for long-term play. For now it seems to be working.
One other issue I have found that is still inconsistently happening is the Cinematic DOF won't refocus and will sometimes remain stuck unfocused whenever I sometimes look at an interactable item (food, drink, NPC inventory), use the Scanner, or use the neutral zoom feature. But now I'm able to run DLSS + Framegen + GITS + NOVA LUT + any Reshade (with Cinematic DOF) without any apparent performance compromise or loss.
Hi, had same issue regarding auto focus blurry up the image especially after using the scanner. What I did to work around the problem was to use Limited Hud and in the LHD addons in Mod Settings set all outlines to transparent. Now I can use scanner without blurry image and having to enable/renable auto focus all the time. Only time that I have to do that for is for when checking the map. I have a another custom cinematic DOF and important to set the parameters correct as well with near/far distance to eliminate blurred UI when looting. Hope this helps other ppl having problem and want the DOF to be more permanent without having to spam enable/renable button all the time.
- When you get the flickering, 'toggle off' the preset you are using. - Open ReShade menu and go to the 'Add-ons' tab. - In the list of buffers, tick the box with the small blue arrow ' > ' next to it. - Now it should be 'fixed'! You can close ReShade menu and 'toggle on' your preset.
(It's handy to set a 'Effect reload key' bind in the settings tab and hit it if you ticked the correct buffer box but the DoF is full screen out of focus or gets stuck when you re-toggle the preset on.)
No arrow in the buffers list? Just toggle the preset back on... and then off again. It should appear.
DoF will still break when loading save, swimming, using menu, map or inventory, so you will have to do the steps above again every time which is annoying for normal game play but more for if you're trying to do cinematic stuff, until there's a better official fix.
(Edit:) - CinematicDOF.fx won't work at all with DLSS set to Performance or Ultra Performance.
Unfortunately, it does affect the HUD.It would be impossible to solve this problem with Reshade. All we can do is wait for something like ENB (ENV) to be made.
HUD is not presented at Depth Buffer so it would affect it anyway, you can do UI Mask but since CP77 using dynamic HUD it will cause a lot of visual bugs with DOF Reshade

I am using GITS 3.X Legacy LUT only and Alternative Weather Visuals at Cyberpunk 2077 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) for ENV/Lighting
Are these compatible?
Try setting it above balance.

like in GTA5 ... i get the same reflections like pathtracing in cyberpunk, but it cost 10 fps ... why nobody makes it for cyberpunk?????
