I don't know how possible this is, but could you add a file/separate mod with more light beacons? They're really cool and it's a shame there's so few of them.
if you are asking whether or not you can make them effectively invisible, then the answer is yes, just need to replace with image files that are transparent with correct dimensions, which if you like i can upload. however if.... ... you are asking whether it's possible to replace them with unique animations and effects, I have not been able to get anything but a solid image to work hope this answers your question
Hi mmwookie... I hope you are fine. Is it possible to create a version that makes it invisible (first part of your reply message). I would like to look at the night without them in the sky. :)
This is awesome...but...I feel there are far too many of them. ...perhaps a variant with only the tallest buildings displaying these? Or even just 1-2 per District?
Well, I played around with these...added and deleted them a couple of times to see the different effects....and now my skybeams are _gone_...and Night City is far less magical.
I've tried installing and uninstalling both manually and with Vortex, with no success. Obviously lots of people are finding these good, so I guess it isn't the mod itself...there is some conflict I can't identify, possibly with the half-dozen mods concerning appearance that I have installed. However this mod _does_ seem to be correctly installed...perhaps a more detailed description of the proper installed file structure would be helpful?
Later edit: And now my beams are back! Dunno what happened or how it worked, but they're back. I'm not sure if they are the vanilla game beams or one of yours...will check it out later...
Even later edit: I now realize that the beams are knocked out IN THE GAME when V and Panam...er...do something that involves the electrical grid of Night City. I am a gonk.
I've used this for a long time, a mix of them. Lately the 4 large ones disappeared not sure what happened, the smaller scrollers work. Might be some weird conflict with one of my other mods idk. I've swapped out replacers with other modders ones same missing, anyone have any ideas?
