This mod doesn't require an update for compatibility with v2.2, it's working fine.
As of Version 1.42, everything in this mod has been modified to no longer require Material and Texture Override. As such, I've removed all comments/bug reports pertaining to anything to do with MTO because they're just no longer relevant. I never had any issues with it personally, but it does seem to cause issues for some users so I've taken the time to figure out how to get this mod working without it. In order to remove MTO without any problems, you need to download the update to the main file as well as the Arm & Mechanism color options (assuming you were using them).
If MTO wasn't causing you any problems, updating is unnecessary as nothing has actually changed other than the file structure to remove the need for that dependency.
The FAQ is now its own separate article, along with an In-Depth Installation Guide, please check those before asking any questions.
I love this mod, and I also found out that this mod is highly compatible with "Arasaka Cyberarms" as well. I really recommend for ppl to try it out, both of them combined! :)
Edit: If anyone have any question's of how/what combos you can do well let me tell you, you can use the mantis blade's from Arasaka arms and the different color combos like one green on the left and a red on the right arm or use the injections mark remover or for example the you can use the cyber hand remover. I hope this helped :)
Can you explain what you mean with the arm color not changing? As long as you've got the main Customizable Mantis Blades file installed, you should see some change (even if it wasn't working the way you want) because it's set to use a completely different texture file. Without any arm color, the main file would turn V's arms completely black.
As mentioned in the installation guide, not installing the main "Customizable Mantis Blades" file will keep V's vanilla arm textures. The other customization options all work without it, although apparently you may run into some weird lighting issues with the fingernails if you use any of the shinier blade materials.
You don't change them in-game, just only install the color options you want to use. I'm unclear if creating that kind of menu is even possible, and if it is, I certainly don't know how to do it.
Could we get a projectile launch system version of this mod? I really like the customization of this mod and would really like to see it with other cyberware arms.
The intention was always to make a version of this for all cyber arms, but they're all pretty janky under the hood so it's not an easy process. In particular, I do my best to fix issues with the vanilla version when I publish mods like this, and those can be tricky. I've made some progress on both the gorilla arms and the projectile launcher, but it's slow going.
My hope is to be done with at least one of them, if not both, within the next few months.
