I don't mean to bash or hate you, but, how the f is this useful? Like why not just play the game and experience it first hand? What is the point of this? Where's the thrill in starting off with someone else's game?
I just don't get it with people doing these kind of stuff. Sharing save files which doesn't help getting immersed with the games themselves. Not a cheat neither, just a game with a different starting point. Sigh.
Here, so why not do it yourself and acquire the save file from your pc and use it as many times as you want? Mods are called mods because they alter the game experience. If you just want to have a save file, you can do so and it is pretty simple to do. Little knowledge of navigating your pc actually is good enough.
Because people may not want to do the heist mission over and over and may have not made a copy of their save.. Mind your own business and move along. Why did you click on this mod at all if this is how you feel. Are you here just here to be a troll?
This type of upload isn't for people doing their first playthrough. This is to bypass the intro sequence along with Act 1, which a lot of people consider to be long winded, and compared to the rest of the game it is quite railroaded.
I'd be interested in hearing your opinion on mods that completely change an item's effectiveness, or make items "overpowered". Would they not have a much higher detriment to a person's immersion?
Also, technically obtaining someone else's save file would still be a "mod". It's a modified version of the game that magically starts in Act 2!
Have a great one mate, and thanks for the comment :)
I've redone the game so many times, I'm tired of the Heist and seeing Jackie die. I think this is very helpful as it feels the game truly starts with the act 2.
+1 with KatRangoon I never thouht of keepign a save copy at the start of act 2 for all lifepaths.
Thanks again for leaving a comment. You just like everyone else, are entitled to have an opinion and let it be known, this is a public forum after all.
Have a great day and hope you find what you're looking for.
Also, not sure if you already attempted this, but I noticed you can specify what tags to filter out, this would obviously come down to each individual uploader, but I did tag this as a "Saved Game" maybe using this will help you filter out what you don't want to see.
I mean... if you have the Phantom Liberty DLC, the game itself gives you an option to skip ahead to the DLC's storyline/content. I've never selected that option myself. I don't know exactly what that option entails once you're in the game. But if that kind of option exists in the vanilla game, then I'm not sure what kind of point you think you're making with your "contributions" here. It's the same basic principle. Is it not? Same for options to skip ahead in cutscenes. Or watching a movie clip on YouTube.
Complaining about something like this on a mod website. A mod website that contains some pretty out-there stuff. Weird flex.
I don't want to have to grind through the Prologue and Act 1 yet again, then Johnny's flashback, just to reach a point where I'm into the primary content of the game. For me, this is a time saver. If this was my first playthrough, then of course this would be a bad idea. Just as I do a money cheat to get V the wardrobe she needs for the game, early. This is a single player game, you're not cheating anyone by using a save, so do what you want
This is for those who, like me, want to play the game again after having already gone through the prologue and Act I at least once, and especially if twice or more. Underneath the intro to the world and the characters, the beginning of the story is a long and boring drag with almost NO replay value. Seriously, only a thimbleful of choices you make in Act I ACTUALLY have consequences in Act II. CD Projekt was right to relabel this "RPG" as an action adventure game. I myself don't feel like experiencing the same unskippable scenes and converstions, or be lead through the same boringly linear missions, more than once or twice.
I just bought phantom liberty, I was nomad in my first play through, I want to do a fresh playthrough as a streetkid but I just don't want to do the intro again. I'm about to download this mod, endorse it, and have a great time skipping hours of gameplay I didn't want to repeat. This is generally true, but if you don't find something useful it's probably not for you
Because my game crashes in the same mission over and over again in the last one of Act 1 so its not possible for me to progress and I've tried every way possible to fix it so I just resorted to doing this
@Despair1394 That's not how modding games works. When you change your modlist considerably, which lots of people do, you should not be using an old save of yours from a different modlist. You'll end up breaking all sorts of things. You need to have a "vanilla" save you can pull from when starting over with a new modlist. That's where this comes in handy, when changing a modlist, but not wanting to go through the sluggish Act 1 for the seventh time.
I personally use these saves, in all games, to test mods because i cbf going through the intro. So once i know the mods are working in game that i test, like GITS for example, then i start the game fresh.
Hi, guys! Maybe someone have a save with ACT 2 where line of Andreas Hellman is done but another lines not touched? Just i have a problem in quest with Panam where she crushing Hellman's AVI - the giant holograms of Night City disappearing when the power plant explodes and then they will never appear. I don't know what to do. I tryed everything what i can... =(
No idea why the holograms disappear, never happened to me. But the holograms are just art, and don't affect the gameplay, so I'd just call it a quirk and not worry about it
I really appreciate these save files so I can try out new mods without messing up any of my current saves. Thank you for taking the time to do them and post them!

SIGH.
Just a heads up, you are acting really immature, why are you even here
Its common practice really.
I know what happens in ACT 1 and don't feel like replaying it repeatedly.
That is why these are here. You can keep watching Jackie's demise repeatedly. Some of us don't like it.
Good call out, added that to the description as well for others to find easier :)
Enjoy the saves.
Enjoy the save file.
