Just a thought if you're still willing to work on this mod. Instead of having the fixer call you when you're near a gig, do you think it would be possible to make it that you have to call fixers for them to give you a gig. I feel like having all these contacts on your phone to be pretty useless and I think it need some love. Nonetheless, thank you for fixing this mod recently!
+1 on this! I find it so immersion breaking, that you have to go to a gig location BEFORE getting the gig. It would be so cool if you had to either physically go to the fixer and get the gig or call them to get it. The one they give could be randomised, so it feels more like THEY are giving you the gig and not just you picking and choosing.
Came here because I got the update notification. I had just completed the Life's Work gig, no problems, before this update. So probably not your mod causing other peoples problems, my guess. Thanks for your awesome work, all of your mods are just amazing and elevate the game.
How or where does one trigger that gig? I ask just in case cause everyone says stay away from that. I've 2.2 and I'm still early in the game so still not reached Padre's gig, what you recommend me to do? I don't want to break anything.
I was one of the folks having issues with 'Life's Work', and loading the patch didn't fix it. That said, I've used console commands to move passed this, so perhaps this is why I can't bring it back.
If anyone else wants/needs the commands to do this, they can be found here: C-Commands to Move Past a Gig. Note, you need to read all the way to the bottom of the comments on this thread, as some of the earlier commands are outdated, but someone else added the updated commands. This didn't get 'Life's Work' working for me, but it did let me move on the the rest of the Padres' gigs.
I've just started a new playthrough with 1.3.2, and the text message 'calling in a favor' that you usually send to Padre to start M'ap Tann Pèlen is available in my phone from the start, right after V gets out of bed after completing The Rescue. Not a dealbreaker or anything since I have the willpower to just not click on it until I need it for M'ap Tann Pèlen, but I assume it's not intended to be there already?
A lot of people are reporting bugs and this mod seems cool but i dont wanna f*#@ up my game so whats up with this mod is it actually working or broken?
careful, this mod will cause Life's Work Gig from Padre to not work. uninstalling the mod mid play through also cause problem. so either stick with it until it has been fixed or stay away from the mod to avoid headache. there is a command in this comment section below to a reddit page that will fix Padre but sadly u have to skip the Life's Work gig. Cheers.
Not sure if this is due to the most recent update but the cyberpsycho sighting icons are still on the map and you can go find the areas where there will be fires and bodies and such, which was somewhat confusing until I remembered I had this mod installed.
Also warning to everyone else, do not uninstall this mod after you've started a game with it installed, it will cause problems later where Mr. Hands won't call by the time you need to go to Pacifica. Thankfully reinstalling the mod helped me.
deceptious can you tell me what did u altered so cyberpsycho killer starts after first tier of regina's gig i would like to put it so it start after 3 gigs not all tier 1 gigs?
