Anything more than what we got from the game would have been an interesting sub plot. Like maybe Gordo would keep asking V to meet up. 'To go over the 'plan'. Or to go over the finer, bits that he doesn't know if V can do without help. And then at some point just given the option to ask if he wants that just hang out. Or maybe ask if he's looking for a friend or if he's lonely. Or maybe have it kick off if you saving from the Arasaka raid.
I could not agree more, there are so many way we could of romanced him without effecting the the ending, it would of made the devil ending so bittersweet I mean I felt it was anyway poor goro looks like a kicked puppy if you don't choose Mikoshi I definitely feel he cared deeply about V in the end, saving his life after the raid I feel like they did him a dirty making him run away and split up it just seemed out of character for him in my opinion It would of been so sweet if he had made to run saw V was in trouble and repaid the favour and they go into hiding together, he confronts her about her risking her life for him, she could be like its coz I like you damn it and then they just make out haha end up in bed together could be a bittersweet conversation the morning after and you can either try and make it work or agree it was a one time thing, either way the mission takes precedence they could definitely of given us more, the fact they kept the flirty text where u can proposition him and him saying he is flattered like come on GIVE HIM TO ME XD
My only thing would be We have no idea how much older than V Goro is. He wasn't Saburo's Bodyguard in 2019 or 2023 when Johnny died so he's somewhere between the late 40s to late 90s assuming Saburo used some anti-aging drugs on his loyalest dog.

No, I'm just saying Saburo rewards those he thinks are loyal and useful. He made you his bodyguard, chipped you with the finest chrome and soft, and treated you better than the other corposoldiers. Extending your life benefits both you and him. He retains a useful and expensive asset while fostering your sense of duty and honor by literally indebting your very life to him.
This is true though to me age is but a number when he looks that good haha 😆 but yeh it would of been interesting to see how his romance would of panned out if they had the time to make it, I believe they had intended it at one point but ran out of time, I imagine it would lean into his thoughts of becoming a nomad if they had but I guesse we will never know, but we can dream lol
Even the wiki page for Goro on fandom.com does not have his DOB, but it seems likely that Takemura is mid to late 50's. V is canonically 23, with the their DOB stated as being October 12, 2053 (See the page at fandom.com), so an age gap of around 35 years is far from improbably.
In a world full of cyberware, gene therapy, full body sculpts and body replacements I doubt people in the Cyberpunk universe care as much about somebody's age as we would in reality. Personally I'm not fussed about age gaps XD give me my silver fox 😂
We seem to infer he's a good deal younger than Wakako given her considers her like his Grandmother. My best guess is she was born 2001-2002 given she came to NC to get a medical degree so around 18 yo and was a medtech by the end of the 4th Corpo War ~2023. That would make her 76 years old. About 30 years older than Goro.
We know that Goro is younger than Hanako who is 78. He calls her "Hanako-sama" (which is an honorific typically used for older people), and when you talk to him about his past, the Arasakas (Saburo, Yorinobu and Hanako) were already much older than him when he was hand picked from the academy by Saburo. We also know that the Arasakas don't exactly have issues with large age gaps, because Michiko Arasaka (Saburo's third and last wife) was in her 40's when she married Saburo in his 80's.
Not only that but... KERRY IS IN HIS 90'S BUT CDPR LETS V ROMANCE HIM. So I don't want to hear anyone saying Goro is too old for V. lol
