2. After removing the car-related sounds using this mod, I felt that Night City was too quiet (so I decided not to use the feature)
3. I always play Cyberpunk with the speaker volume turned up, but often when I hear a woman moaning in Night City, I quickly turn the speaker volume down. (I live in an apartment and I always worry that the moaning will be heard by the neighbors. So the feature to remove the moaning sound is really useful.)
question 1) does your mod offer sepparate options for tv ads and tv news? q 1.1) does "mute advert announcements" actually mean those annoying brainrot commercials i meant above (sry, english is not my 1st language)? q 1.2) where do podcasts fit in?
q 2) i already have installed the mute tv ads and quieter tv news mods. I have no problems in deleting them and replacing them with your mod if it does "YES" for question 1). But if "NO", then are these mods compatible with yours???
q3) "mute other devices sounds" -> does this mean radios which are spread throughout the world?
q4) Not really a question but since we're here, i would also like to double down on DigitalVixen's exceptional idea (she posted that here on 26th of march) to turn off only a few of the radios. EXAMPLE: if we're in a specific mission area, and there are 2 radios, they both are on and they play different tunes and that's annoying as hell. So would it be possible say for a 50 meter range to have only ONE radio on?
Disabling the mod with its master toggle is enough to get rid of this quirk. I don't find them unpleasant but it's quite distracting.. Seems like game's reverb is impacted resulting in weirdly out of place (spatial placement - mostly noticeable on a multichannel system) and louder feeling sounds.
Did you ever find a fix for this problem? I love the mod but this bug is terrible. Still present as of 4/6/2025.
Edit: I turned the mod off in the UI settings then reloaded and the problem was gone. Then I turned it back on, turned the plant sounds toggle off, reloaded again. This fixed it for me, though I'm not sure if it is permanent.
Oh yeah, that'd be great! I've looked into doing that myself but had no luck, but that was by grabbing the sound files and trying to raise the volume of them. I guess I just didn't find the right files maybe...
Would it be possible to do a random-chance off for certain devices, instead of just on/off?
For example: maybe randomly turn off/mute 50% of the radios. Or maybe turn on 50% of the floodlights (though admittedly that's not a sound!), something I saw from another mod but I would much prefer a Redscript version if possible since CET seem to have performance issues.
Choom, if you ever happen to do another update for this mod, if you could take a look at either lowering or muting the volume of ceiling fans as well that would be a godsend FR.
there's a channel on TV called Just Ads and this mod doesn't appear to be muting that channel for me even with the global switch turning everything off.
I did reload and all core mods are up to date. Could be a mod conflict with something else if no one else is having this issue.
that is an SFX unrelated to ambient sounds, I'm working on another mod to toggle SFX right now which will include this. Though I cant guarantee if it will bork up quest progression itself so Ill mark it as experimental

Thanks for yet another great mod! :)
Thank you!
I'm so tired of the clunk sound in the H10 apartment.
