    UPDATE

    Sound Bug - MARCH 27 2025

If you're experiencing weird sound bugs, check for the mod V's Sierra Sonora Villa and disable if you have it installed. Apparently that fixed the problem for another user. If you're still experiencing the bug, try looking for mods similar to the aforementioned and disable them.

Older apartment / world edit mods (especially archive ones) may not be updated and thus any of them could cause this issue.

Installed and had a walk about, found a couple of little things not sure if my end or not though.
The Beads on this door go nuts after being touched, walking away from the bar and back again returns them to normal no other beaded doorways acting like this.
Also some dudes knee clipping through the wall here.

The lazer lights in the same club clip through walls into the alley and on the stairs.
Using the Artistic mod there is an empty frame on the stairs picture won't display possibly the artcistic mod at fault here, And one as shown here that is covered by the vending machines.

Also had some minor Z fighting on some stairs, using the high-res surfaces 2x2k so I assume a load order thing.
Lastly there is an npc couple which I believe you are supposeed to hear arguing but no sound coming from them, Possibly remembering this wrong vOv
Other than that love the mod gives the area the vibe it should have.

Edit: Should note could still purchase all of the pics from the artistic mod so it's no real biggy.

I was pretty impressed at how this made the area feel more lived in and alive.   Now it just needs a little noddle shop some where with a lewd joke about sending noods.

Hey! So I’m still getting the silly audio bug with either this mod or the h10 apartment expanded mod! I’ve been trying to disable other mods but to no avail! Not so sure what else could be going on! The audio bug only occurs when around jig jig street, or the h10 apartment, when this 2 mods are active! Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas. :(   I had heard that reprocessing the file would fix one particular sound bug, but there could be another that's yet to be isolated / fixed. So unless someone figures that out there's probably no way around it.

That said, if you find anything from disabling stuff, let me know.

Ok so about 2 hours of disabling stuff 1 by 1, It was the V's Sierra Sonora Villa mod that was causing the issue! Now this mod and the H10 expanded mod work flawlessly with no audio issues! So for anyone else that has the Villa mod, that is probably the issue!

      Great mod BTW! :)

It's awesome that you would take the time to return the concrete bollards that Johnny sits on for like 10 seconds. Very cool of you to stray true to the immersion factor!

Sorry I missed this. Sounds like a proxy issue, I did note a similar problem but fixed it awhile back.

Maybe try the new version I've uploaded. If that doesn't help, please screenshot what you're seeing and submit here or share link in comment.

For some reason this mod causes weird audio glitches where all of the sounds get progressively louder / more overlayed. Entering the pause menu doesn't stop the sounds.

This is the first time I've heard of this specific issue. I've seen a few people mention audio problems, but they don't seem consistent (volume was never a problem), and in a few cases they were solved by the mod user.

Almost certainly a conflict with another mod.

Also getting it. Used to get it with H10 Oasis. Author says it's fixed now due to a streaming error

      Love this mod thank you!

Hmm, seems odd because if the audio problem for this mod was related to streaming distance, it should affect all users. But I've never encountered the issue and so far few people have reported it.

I'll see if I can reach out to the creator of H10 Oasis to better understand what happened with that mod.

Just realized that the same issue exists in More Parked Vehicles - Little China. Maybe that helps in debugging.

Had the same issue and I had both this mod and Oasis H10 from brocreate, in posting in their Posts section and troubleshooting my mods to find the source the issue completely went away after disabling JJU. I love your mod and look forward to the day the bug is squashed. I'll quote what I had said there in this post.
Had same issue in anywhere around H10 and Jig Jig, after disabling AMM and running without it or the props files I didn't get the bug. I tested once again after installing the "AMM Props Library - For Other Mods" and I did get a short boost in street sounds (like a car honking) in the bathroom of the apartment and in front of the dealer by the toy shop on jig jig but they were temporary and dissipated quickly (although the one in front of the dealer is repeatable) which is much less persistent than the ear-rape that it was prior, might try the AMM versions later as I noticed the lack of some diversity of NPCs provided by AMM. hopefully this helps inform anyone else having the bug.
EDIT: tested using Oasis 1.2 (AMM) with Jig Jig unleashed and AMM installed and didn't have the audio bug (except around the dealer) BUT the Oasis Apartment wasn't working, it was just the normal apartment. so sadly I might just deal with the bug and use the current H10 Oasis mod with AMM since it allows me to have Jig Jig Unleashed and Oasis with more varied NPCs even though there's a horrible audio bug.
EDIT2: Testing with AMM, JJU, and Oasis did make the bug more prominent but its only audible for a split moment walking into the bathroom of the apartment and walking into the toy shop on jig jig, the dealer on jig jig still has his/her zone of street noise but it did seem to dampen after a few minutes fiddling around in the area. all in all I'll take the trade-off. full circle lol.
**Note: I have about 410 mods installed so its always possible there's something else going on but I've done enough troubleshooting today XD
@PKKxHaseo the 2.1 archivexl version of digital oasis should no longer cause the audio bug. the AMM versions of digital oasis should never have caused an audio bug since the audio bug is caused by archivexl. it only takes one incorrectly exported archivexl world/sector edit to cause the audio bug anywhere, so it's likely jigjig unleashed or another archivexl world edit mod you have installed
@brocreate Dang, I like JJU, makes it really pretty with little performance impact. I'll try it without JJU and confirm, Thanks for your input! Fantastic Mod!
EDIT: You were correct every location I know for sure had the audio bug was completely normal after disabling JJU. You know anything I could do to correct the underlying issue?

I've experienced the same thing: approaching Jig-Jig st with the mod (JJU) installed results in the audio bug some of us have reported. Uninstalling JJU solved the issue. I'd love to use JJU, so I hope this audio bug can be identified and resolved.
Thank you for the great mod though, I'd love to keep using it.

Update to this, I've been told there's a fix by reprocessing the file in OS. I've been bouncing around with a lot of stuff leading into the holidays, but am pretty sure I can do this in the near future... I just have to find the original object file I used to create Jig Jig Unleashed.

So basically, am hoping to fix the problem within a week or so.

This is awesome news. I had the issue with H10 Oasis and this mod, so I'm glad to get closure for both. You rock, bro.

This has probably already been fixed, but on the original version of JJU Takemura would go stand inside some barrels next to the railing after the Wakako chat. Had it installed for 100+ hours of playtime so not sure if you fixed this in a new ver. this literally says it's fixed in the notes lol

Another follow-up:  I think the sound bug may be fixed in my new release, some kind folks told me it could be removed by reprocessing the file using a recent version of OS.

If you still experience the issue, let me know (I'm unlikely to be able to fix it myself, but can pass the info along).
  9. 2.2, I have 150+ mods running and this works flawlessly. This is already one of my favorite areas in the game, and you made it so much more immersive, thank you!

I'm trying to add modded locations to my game for the first time using AMM (Appearance Mod Menu). Could you provide a tutorial or walk me through the process of adding these modded locations to my game?

Late reply, Nexus wasn't showing new comments on this page... but you can find a video tutorial on my main apartment page:

Just go to the description page and scroll down to the videos.

This is very petty, so feel free to ignore this request for your amazing mod, but...

Would you be open to a version of this WITHOUT the cherry blossom trees and "Yagami Market" sign? I feel like people who make modded locations totally overuse the cherry blossom trees hologram thing, and I just can't stand to see them anymore. It's basically synonymous with a huge sign screaming 'THIS IS A MOD-ADDED LOCATION' to me.

And idk, the Yagami Market sign just doesn't make sense there to me, I think it'd look better without it. 🤷🏾

This is all very petty and arbitrary, and if it's a headache to do this, feel free to ignore me. Your mod is completely amazing anyways, regardless 🙏🏾

I don't think the ask or perspective are petty, but I don't make variants of mods based on individual requests. :/  Mainly cause it can consume time just to satisfy one person's ideal take on a build and then become a drain if lots of people start asking. And hosting the modified builds doesn't make sense either, cause then the mod becomes a sea of confusing options, whereas one unified vision simplifies things and I think is a bit more immersive.

For Jig Jig, the trees and Yagami sign were both added to extend the vibe of Cherry Blossom Market (which is directly adjacent to Jig Jig and uses the same props), and to add more pink to the area for obvious thematic reasons (sex!). So it's less about the oooh pretty aspect and more about how they strengthen the overall look and lore that I think were intended by the devs. Plus I wanted more contrast for the new grungy aspects I added in.

That said, I wholly support folks making their own versions of my mods. In this case it's not as simple since I used both AMM and OS to build this, and most people don't know how to use OS yet. But I'm planning to release a tutorial at some point (waiting on updates from the mod maker), and once that's done you could easily make these changes for your own copy!

I totally understand that and I *LOVE* all your location mods otherwise, I'm a big user and fan of your apartment mods <3

I just get really irrationally bothered seeing those damn holographic cherry trees since it seems virtually every AMM/AXL location preset just spams them nonsensically everywhere and in my mind it basically screams "THIS IS A MOD-ADDED LOCATION AND NOT VANILLA!" now 😂

haha yea, it's hard to resist the holo trees... probably cause it's one of the first holo objects AMM unlocked.

If it was just AMM I could do this for you in a few minutes, but with OS I have to make the changes and then repack the mod using Wolvenkit. But if you're open to a little tinkering, it'll take you maybe 15-20m and you know how.
