Has anybody figured out way how to downgrade to release version like 1.0? I want to give it a spin as I'm trying now ps4 version and oh boy, it's hella of a ride
Great question! I don't think it's possible under the same launcher, but if you had two launchers such as Steam and GOG, then I think it could be done! You could even manage them both separately using MO2. (MO2 > Vortex)
Sadly doesn't work. CTD disk write error trying to update the appmanifest.acf file. It wants badly to update on game launch and does this when it cant as it's set to read only. Additional errors after downloading the previous version files and overwriting. it's like the developers caught on to people doing this. Anyone else successfully roll back??
You have to launch the game through Vortex or run the .exe outside of Steam, otherwise Steam will still attempt to update the game even with the appmanifest set to read only.
Updated the game yesterday, broke the mods, did a rollback via steam and was able to play without issue. Rebooting PC and BAM everything is as if it is updated again. Still on the rollback but nothing f*#@ing works anymore. REDscript compilation has failed. Anyone please help
Is there a way to download Redmod separately? I successfully rolled back the game, but I don't have Redmod, so I can't run the mods I had previously installed.
If you accidentally deleted that file like i did (should have a "tools" folder for redmod", i just did a fresh install of cyberpunk with redmod and then did the steps to roll back the update
There is a separate depot for this. Luckily it is on the same SteamDB page. For example, for version 2.12a: https://steamdb.info/patchnotes/13784962/ Look at the depot below (Depot 2060310), this is redmod. Go through all the steps described for downloading depots described on this page, using the code structure: download_depot <appID> <depotID> <manifestID> in the console of steam. For 2.12a it is: download_depot 2060310 2060310 1800196103221542454 Hope it helps.
I don't understand the desperation for this update. Like, isn't this just another one of the 200 times the game updated for nothing and we need to wait until the mods are updated? Or did they somehow break core mods for good this time?
There have been a LOT of errors for players since the update. For example, red4ext was having errors, even though it was up to date. One of the core mods was a bust for me. I downgraded and the game worked perfectly fine for me.
After copying and paste everything, I get the "Cyberpunk 2077 encountered an error caused by a corrupted or missing archives and will now force to close."
Tengo este error Depot download failed : error writing chunk for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1091500\depot_1091501\archive\pc\content\audio_2_soundbanks.archive" what do I do now

Edit: and the one for Phantom Liberty 2.2: download_depot 2138330 2138330 3585115081536255968
I ran: download_depot 1091500 1091501 3807385820978085162, deleted all my old files and pasted this in. My game launches but still says its 2.13.
Is this a visual bug or does that mean I just downloaded 2.13 again?
