"When you come back crying to take it out, cos it's poaching your brain, the sandy is mine, for free." ~ David's ripper.
This mod will only trigger if you have completed the "Over The Edge" gig.
Phantom Liberty is Required - This mod is using PL assets.
Once you've recieved Falco's Gift and are at or above Level 40, have a nap in V's H10 apartment. To reset the health penalty fully V needs 24 hours of sleep broken up in to 3 sleeps of 8 hours.
Points of Note Having the Edgerunner perk unlocks functionality. More functionality is available if V has strong net running skills and is also wearing a cyberdeck. The Fury buff from Edgerunner has been replaced with Cyberpsychosis; The crit buff from Fury has been moved to Safety Limiters Lifted. Cyberpsychosis will disable the Sandevistan until the episode has finished. Cyberpsychosis episode will make gangoons and NCPD angry. MAXTAC will not be called until V kills NCPD or civilian after Cyberpsychosis episode. ** Added Hotkey for Lift Safety Limiters make sure to bind it in CET ** V's kiroshi's are on the fritz during a cyberpsychosis episode, and when V is cyberpsycho; lifting the safeties can help once V is recovered from laughing his head off.
Fixes 2.25.3. Fixed Issue where the UI Timer was being turned off every second, even if it was already off. Fixed Issue where V was in a safe area in Psycho mode it would play the Screen Blur effect when it shouldn't and glitch some animations, like sleeping in h10. Fixes the Sandevistan going BOOP everytime you go into a non combat zone. Misty's Esoteric Emporia also recharges V's sandevistan and psychosis timers (slowly)
If you're having problems with Vik's inventory (characters created before the mod was installed?) then the CET command for the Sandevistan is as follows Game.AddToInventory("Items.MartinezSandevistanPlusPlus", 1) but the mod is designed so that you can buy it from Vik's store.
I have a problem where after getting the sandevistan, all ripperdock inventories are empty? means i can't buy anymore cyberware. Tried sleeping, restarting the game, didn't work.
Thanks for your work! I wanted to ask if the Fury buff triggered through mods such as Edge of Red Mantis Blades will work the same way as it did before or will be replaced with Cyberpsychosis as well?
The fury buff is effectively gone; it'll still get triggered but it no longer does anything. It's been replaced by Lift Safety Limiters; which gives the crit chance/damage buff that fury used to give.
Sorry for taking a while to respond. Ok then. If it's not too much hassle, would you please consider restoring the vanilla effect for instances where other mods call for it? Those mantis blades in particular become much less interesting without the buff.
I don't mean to nag and this will be my last post regarding this request. From the ones known to me aside from Edge of Red the Neuralware mod also has a feature dependent on the fury effect, namely the Cyberpsycho memory chip. It would be wonderful to have their intended effects coexist with the changed behaviour from your mod but I understand that since they're not your work you have much less interest in altering your mod to accommodate them. Thanks for making great mods!
Well as i stated earlier; the fury effect does trigger; and anything dependent on it will still work. Only that #1 the fury VFX have been moved to cyberpsychosis, #2 the fury icon has been hidden away, so you wont know when it's being triggered and #3 the fury buffs have been reasigned to lift safety limiters, which you can trigger at any time you want. But Fury is still being triggered, just invisibly.
Is there a way I can rebind either the overclock or sandy button? They are both "E" and so for some reason Im ony able to trigger the sandy and not overclock.
Either way, amazing mod and having a ton of fun with it so far. Thanks!
If you have cyberware-ex they are already bound. To use the sandevistan press E; to use your cyberdeck press tab to get into scanning mode, scan something and press E; for beserk, i believe you have to melee block and press E.
Only had time to test it briefly but it seems to be working. These 2 mods are a good match too because the “unlimited” runtime of your Sandevistan means you really have to keep an eye on Neural Capacity now.
Thank you for the quick update, I really do appreciate it.
Is there any to change the sleep requirement from 3x8hrs to a single 8hr sleep? Sleeping that many times in a row is not great when running the Dark Future mod, since every hour of sleep depletes certain stats.
It's 3x8 intentionally, if you over use the sandevistan there's a cost to it. 100s/day is ideal usage, any more is going to put V behind and either lots of catch up sleep or reduced runtime the next day leading to cyberpsychosis. You can get another 8 hours by visiting viktor for a checkup every so often; and hanging around with misty in her shop will have small benefits too.
If dark future is adding to the cost of over use, all the better.
you want to speed up the sandevistan of the enemy NPCs? completely loco; and i have no idea how; getting V's sandy to run faster was nothing short of a miracle.
no safety mode pairs well with the black chrome cyberware quantum tuner + heuristic bio + smart blood pump negates the hp drop a bit with second heart and shock n awe recommended you using a katana ofc you can turn yourself into a electrical bomb

However, the lift safety's feature of this sandevistan is going to give you so much crit chance you wont need that set.

The end of the description has the code needed to add to make it compatible. Seems like these would make a killer combo.

I'm just kidding; i'll look into making an "underclock mode" which has less time dilation.
But considering both mods will mess with the VFX; they probably do conflict.
but you know, pet the cat, eat the food, etc; it's not my thing so.
