For everyone that was asking about implementing different separators and/or not wanting separators to apply to some UI elements: I released an update that adds a settings menu where you can configure what the mod does to your liking.
I even threw in an option to display cents for visual flair too.
Anywho... If you run into an issue using Numerals Get Commas, please report it on github. If you are wanting to contribute to Numerals Get Commas, please open a PR on github.
After some testing, Numerals Get Commas works in update 2.21 flawlessly provided you update the core mods to their latest versions. I've also released NGC v1.2.0 which adds delineation to money values in inventory/backpack item tooltips.
Most Europeans use commas as a decimal separator, which isn't what this mod does. The mod uses commas in the American fashion, as thousands-place separators to visually delineate every third power of ten in the number place, so you can tell your hundreds of thousands from your millions at a glance. Most European countries use a period as their thousands-place separator. For example, to write the numeral one million two hundred thirty-four thousand five hundred sixty-seven and eighty-nine hundredths, we Americans would typically write "1,234,567.89" whereas most Europeans would write "1.234.567,89" This mod's default setting follows the American convention, as shown in the screenshots, so it isn't very European at all - barring the UK (from whom we inherited our numbering conventions), which can't seem to make up its collective mind whether or not it wants to be a part of Europe.
I'm sure you're familiar with the 'Virtual Stock Market' as in know of it. Is it possible maybe some time in the near future we could get some commas for that Mod? obviously you'd have to collab with the author. It's bothersome to anyone who uses it, I'm sure. Especially dealing with large numbers. Hundreds of millions. It would be really awesome if doable but, understandable if not since it's not Vanilla, but an actual mod by someone else. Hopefully :) Your work is appreciated.
I typed "stock Market" in the search and it was the very first one to show ( and I'm not trying to be a smart-ass lol) "Stock Market and News System" Its got over half million DLs so its sort of popular i guess.
tho the closest thing i've found is https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/6319 but its a lua mod and NGC is a redscript mod; because of that, it'll be pretty hard to implement commas for stock market and news system
Well, it was worth a shot. Seen your update and I've been meaning to ask. It's all I can do, ask and hope. Not entirely out of the question from what I gather in your statement but, at the same time, probably something you don't want to touch. Completely understandable. You're the professional. You're going to see the things I can't. Thanks anyways though. Appreciate your mod regardless. Thanks You :)
Well, so much for my plan to ask you to make a mod for IRL that removes all the apostrophes people have been putting on all their plurals in the last twenty years, as if they think the letter S tastes bland without some punctuation sprinkled on it.
Such a simple mod-however, so many lives it's saved. At least thousands of $$$$ on therapy. I can't believe that I'm just finding this mod NOW. I've gone through 2 prescriptions of glasses and 3 prescriptions of a mild anxiety medication BECAUSE someone was too damd lazy to add commas in numerals at CDPR. THANK YOU SIIIIR!!!....tip of the hat and i bid you GOOD DAY.
FFS. If you see this please let me know what I am doing wrong. I can't get this to work no matter what I try. I have all requirements, not many mods. Tried with Vortex and manually. Nothing helps.
I can see it it even in "Mod settings" as enabled. All settings are there it just not working.
It's not anymore QoL for me but matter of sanity :P
I did not had it installed and you did not put it in requirements. So I was checking similar mods to see what can be wrong and found that they have it as requirement.
With Codeware installed now everything is working, settings can be changed. Great job.
Just please update requirements in description. Endorsed and Kudos :)
The answer is probably because its Eurodollars and some EU nations use . in place of , so to them 2,000 is 2.000 so to avoid this issue they forgo the separator.
it's not set in Poland though. They're Euro"dollars" and the nations that use dollars also use commas like the US, Canada and Australia. maybe more but that was a good point made by lincolnshooter. it's a mixmash of currencies and a mixmash of separators might be confusing. although, an option in the settings could probably be added with little confusion.

My mods
EDIT: OK, I tried all 3 versions, and only 1.0.0 is working for me for some reason. If you can check that it would be much appreciated.
TY for your work.
Sure.
Here it is:1.1.1 Settings
1.0.0 working but that version is without settings.
Problem was Codeware
