hello, can it causes game to freezes (not the computer just the game) if remember vehicles is set too high ? and is it compatible with redmods like NCPDPPE https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/9863 AND NIGHT CITY ALIVE https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/10395?tab=description ?
It doesn't really work well for modded vehicles or for vehicles that don't have any alternate appearances (like Cesar's car in the screenshot or the busses mentioned)... Really not much that can be done about that... The issue for all of you is that Nova Traffic is swapping out for a lot of these single-appearance vehicles, then this mod just can't really do anything about it (it's likely removing some duplicates still, just not all of them since this runs on a timer)...
is this only meant to work with vanilla vehicles? because it doesn't seem to be doing anything for me at all, it won't even change headlight colors with that option enabled. i'm using Nova Traffic (simple) with a large community list, but even then it doesn't even seem to do anything to the vanilla vehicles that show up either. still getting tons of duplicates, and no headlight colors. does it not work with the simple version of nova traffic? I'm at a loss here. hell, I even just checked the output log file and it's completely blank.
Not sure what the issue would be, sorry, but it's working on my end in game v2.2 with the newest CET (and also was in 2.13) and Nova Traffic Simple (I don't have a very large list of vehicles, though, but that shouldn't really matter)... And no, it doesn't only affect vanilla vehicles... Really no idea what'd be wrong for you if nothing's in the log...
If you want to test, you can open the init.lua file in notepad, press "Ctrl+H" ("replace" hotkey), which will open a little window with 2 text fields... In the top field, type "--print" (without the quotes) and in the second field type "print" (just removing the hyphens), then press the "Replace All" button, close the search window, save the file and close it, then run the game... Once you get in game, you should see the print statements for swaps and whatnot in CET console... They should start pretty much immediately after loading into a savegame... If you do this, please come back to let me know whether you see the prints or not in the console...
okay thanks, the events are showing up in the console after doing that, so I can at least see that it's doing its job now. i probably just have so many cars that it can't keep up with them all tbh. but i'm still not getting any colored headlights for some reason :(
About 50 cars have been added, but I’m seeing sometimes up to 4 of the exact same cars spawning directly next to each other in traffic. I have tried all 3 replacement options including the randomised one but it made no difference at all.
I'm not sure why this combination doesn't seem to be impacted by this mod.
so funny enough i'm also having this issue with some vanilla vehicles too, the most egregious ones (or at least the most noticeable) being the big box trucks, and one specific variant of the Mahir Supron (the one with the psychedelic paint job that looks like George Clinton should be driving it). i also use Realistic Traffic Density though, so maybe that overloads this mod's capabilities or something.
This is exactly the mod we need. I would like to ask if I want to see more of the original vehicles in the game without using any new vehicle mods, do I need to use this mod in conjunction with Nova Traffic, or just use this mod? It seems that some of the vanilla vehicles are hard to see, and I don't know if I will never see some vanilla vehicles if I don't use Nova Traffic. Finally, thank you for your work, it means a lot.
This mod seems incompatible with "Realistic Traffic Density" mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/6457?tab=posts Bug makes all vehicles disappear.
I'll do some testing later, but that should not have that issue... I use a different mod (my own) that edits the same files that mod does and traffic doesn't disappear for me... But I'll try with their mod specifically and see in a bit...
Well, I just tested and am definitely still seeing plenty of traffic in all areas of the city Freeflew around the map landing in different areas and cars spawned everywhere I went)... So I don't think that this mod combination is your issue... Have you tested them both individually to ensure it is or did you just install both and assume it is (people do both, so gotta ask...lol)?
Thanks for testing out. Weird, as I have only these 2 mods affecting traffic. However, I have mods affecting crowds, so maybe problem comes from another mod. I just assumed they couldn't conflict. Guess I'll have to disable them one by one to rule out the culprit. Sorry for the false report.
Looks great so far, using best option and nova traffic category ver. seeing no dulicate with mod cars appear. Btw, could you tell me why you take down your immersive weapon mod?
This is great! Thank you. Only got to try it out for about 15 minutes earlier but this definitely killed duplicates by probably 80% at the very least. The only memorable ones I saw were two Corvettes side by side and another one way up ahead. You definitely are the mad genius of Cyberpunk modding. I (and hopefully everyone else modding their game) appreciate all the work you do.

The community list is this one: Nova traffic modded car swaps - Nexus Mods - Nexus Mods
