Is there a reason its being flagged as disabled in your screenshot? Any parameters that you have set that are disabling it through redmod or somewhere else?
This isn't some video gamey sound, dash and double jump make sounds because they are literal body mods making it possible to do what you are doing. The sounds you hearing are the servo motors and pistons reacting to being activated to allow you to do what you just did. This is actually the least immersive thing you could do
Whether or not you choose to jump and dash a million times is your business and has nothing to do with the sound that jump and dash make. There's in-universe reasons for why they make that loud sound, and it has everything to do with your cyberware whirring up so you can do those movements in the first place.
I like what the mod aims to do (I, too, prefer a quieter experience as I jump-dash my way throughout the city), but don't sell it as an immersion thing when it's simply a preference/QoL feature for us as players.
Hey friend, thanks for the mod though I am having some trouble with it working. There may be a conflict on my end but I have so far not gotten it to work. The only other redmods I have are the sandevistan redux sound and night city alive.
Could you link the specific sandevistan sound mod? There is a general sound bug that can happen when any mod modifies some specific sound files without using redscript, but this one doesn't do that. Most likely another mod modifies the dodge sound somehow. Redscript load order might fix this. I'll dig in and take a look.
I fixed the problem, no issues from your end. I've been using specific launch parameters that disabled redmod :l. Sorry about the hassle and thanks so much for the mod! Lmk how I can support any future work

I don't wanna hear my own loud heartbeat every 2 seconds.

I've been hoping for a dash mute since 2.0, but too busy/lazy to learn to mod.
This fix works perfect. Thank you thank you thank you.
