Hi. What a great job! (with an accurate and detailed description ^^)
🔧 INSTALLATION here :
(for those who are unsure of which folder to copy the file to)
1440p perf gain (game's benchmark) • +9% with XESS 1.3 (+8% gain for 1% Low, but -1% for 0.1% Low) • +12% with FSR 3 (+10% gain for 1% Low, and +11% for 0.1% Low) • +15% with FSR 2.1 (+16% gain for 1% Low, and +10% for 0.1% Low)
Really thanks for sharing this great mod !
Here are the results with the game's benchmark (measure with CapFrameX) :
Note : for each test, I ran 3 benchmarks, and I've taken the median result.
PC configuration • AMD RX 6900XT | Navi 21 XTX (light OC : +2 or 3% gain over stock config ; Average power consumption for this tests : 230W) • Intel Core i5-12400 • 2 x 16Go DDR5 5600MT/s CL36 Corsair Vengeance
With pleasure, and thanks to you too for your mods ;) I've just seen that you've published Night City Streets, it looks really good! And at the same time, my little 12400 is already running at 80% downtown, so I'll have to choose your lighter versions ^^ I'll also do a few benchmarks to see.
I didn't actually test my FPS increase with this mod, but I did discover a weird interaction I wanted to mention in case anyone else runs into it. The grappling hook mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2917) works just fine, but the "rope" portion disappears with your .ini installed, and reappears when removed. I imagine if I hunt through and test line by line I can find the culprit and fix it, but as an old gamer with kiddos my time is somewhat limited.
Any suggestions for a place to start would be appreciated, will update if I do get a chance to test and find out the cause and/or resolution.
It's appreciated that you're sharing these things; that alone deserves thanks. But I'd like to ask you something: how much FPS gain are we talking about? Of course, every PC configuration is different, but in your case, it would have been nice to mention your hardware configuration and how many FPS you had without this modification and how many you have now, so we can see if it's worth it or not before downloading. That said, no offense; it's just a suggestion. Thanks anyway.Best regards.
Damn man i figured would never play game in PT mode but now i can have RX 6600 changed some graphical settings and voila fps sits i think around 40 45 which was with RT without your mod preem work choom
Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\pc\ - i have nothing raytracing related in there to backup, should i have? If you say alternativly a CET config folder... maybe in there: Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks ?
Just out of curiosity: how is this different from Ultra+ (https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/10490), and could these optimizations be incorporated into Ultra+ or a similar mod as one of the presets in the future?
If Ultra+ is using the maximum ray tracing (RT) settings, RRR could give you better performance. RRR won't make other graphics any better. It only tries to make ray tracing go faster on AMD cards . It tries this by doing things like making all tracing half-res. It's a specialized for RDNA. I don't know if they can be combined. It's also has notes so users can tweak it to their liking.

Thanks for the effort on this by the way!
