There’s so many many many other areas in night city with these issues. Hope you’ll find more and add them. It’s something I’ve noticed for years, how the tiles and floors just are busted and misaligned.
By doing so, this mod and Immersive Night City Fixes will overlap at some point more than they already do, and then will be a pain, as no LOAD order will fix that !!!!
Well, most of the fixes you did (if not all), will be in my mod but on a much larger scale - hence the delay in release, as i first tackle the reported ones and in between i was working on my ones.
Part of it, yes. But i can do all of it if you want ... Initially i opened that street (removed the collapsing barricade and collision - but was looking a bit out of place since there are no cars going that way). Anyway, on my end, is not only the road behind the police station ... the area itself, is extended considerably .. This was my plan long before you started doing the police station (even before my mod was released)
Well, you can do it if you want and if you have the motivation. I just need you to removes all the sidewalks and collisions that goes in the police station. There is also some part of the building that needs to be redone to be compatible with my upcoming police station parking. (I'm not gonna lie I spend a lot of time doing this freaking parking so I would love it to be compatible so pple can use both mods ahah)
This street is a pain in the a**. It's so strange, almost the entire street is one mesh. I had to remove it and replace with the missing parts. Also the curve in the sidewalk was impossible to recreate exactly the same way because I couldn't find curved concave sidewalks meshes that recreate that exacte curve. So I used regular squared sidewalk meshes and changed the width etc.
We can talk about it in private if you want more info, for compatibility for exemple ;)
Nothing against specifically your mod, really, I'm just out of curiosity wondering how badly these little fix mods or mods which add one chair here and two light sources there going to mess up the NC performance wise. Take into the account that I have not a slightest idea how anything work. 😁
Well all the added props are low poly meshes. The mod add, stuff, but also remove stuff. It actually remove more that it adds, so imo the impact on perfermance is negligeable.
However lightsources use more computer power, especially while using RT/PT.

Maybe I'll do another version but not for now.
CDPR must have been under significant pressure to release the game in this state and not even address issues like these after all this time.
I don't want to discredit the effort or vision that went into building the game; it is a phenomenal work of art.
But the fact that CDPR had to ignore glaring errors like this sends a more effective message about the ills of mega-corps than the game itself does.
Where would games like this be today without the modding community?
