Mod works great, simply and easy to install, no bugs so far after testing out initially. This script is a f*#@ing must, I never realized how much the game fucks you over with mods until I got a mod I actually wanted to use and tried to replace a shitty mod on my only good rifle, only to find out mods are permanent...
I cannot seem to get this to work. I have mods enabled, installed redscript, when I launch the game it says its loading mods and nothing. What am i missing? When it didnt work with just redscript alone, I downloaded and installed Cybercmd, nothing. Then I installed RedEXT, again nothing. What am I doing wrong?
Ok we got it.....I'm just the big dummy not being thorough
You mean dummy thicc, right? Now don't be a rapscallion and share with the hive mind why it wasn't working for you. How can we learn from you to be more thorough in the future?
I had the same problem. when i dropped the extracted "r6" folder into my current "r6" folder for some reason it didn't make a "script" folder or actually put the file in said folder. So i re-extracted the package, went into the extracted "r6" folder and manually cut and pasted the "script" folder into my established "r6" folder. Restarted my game and it works. I also updated my Redscript because it had a new version, but I did that when I originally tried to install the mod and it didn't work, so I have no idea if that played any part or not, but I am mentioning it because it's one of the things I did.
thanks a lot for this,i find it absurd they make weapon mods not removable when half the mods either doing nothing for specific weapons or straight up harmful.
Just based on my own thorough reading, and various posts submitted by users, I don't think cybercmd is needed. I even tried using this mod without it and I've seen no noticeable impact performance wise.
They really should have added the ability to remove mods as a bonus to a tech perk. Would make so much sense. I don't see it being abused if its tied to a prerequisite to another perk.

Thanks!
ALWAYS SAY HOW YOU FIXED IT.
Left mouse button applies the mod; right mouse button removes the mod.
