you would have to change the character model to get rid of the boobs, and then change the model of every piece of torso armor in the game to get rid of the boobs, so that would probably be a lot harder than just changing the texture of the skin
Hey just happened to come by this mod and was curious. Why? Like, I know what the scars are, and have no issues with it, but in CP2077 there are plenty of trans, and you even have the option to be trans, but it takes place in a time where procedures can be done without leaving scars. Are scars like, some sort of honorable feature to have after becoming trans, or is this just something that seemed like a good idea?
why not? like you said, there are trans people that exist in the cyberpunk universe, as well as the real world. the lore doesn't actually go in-depth about transgender procedures, which irl, are often still different and harder to achieve than nearly the same procedure that a cisgender person would get (e.g. a hysterectomy). we don't really know how it is in cyberpunk. some people also like to create Vs that represent themselves more, and they might have these scars. it's also just a way to normalize these scars more, as many trans people do have them irl but feel self-conscious, etc. there's a million reasons as to 'why', and every person who finds this mod useful in one way or another might have an entirely different answer.
so, in short, I guess I liked the idea. like I mentioned in my description, I made it for my personal use, but decided, why not release it? other people might like to have this in their game, too.
could be a class thing where less wealthy have less access to medical procedures and so on, cyberpunk genre is all about capitalism run amok and large gap between rich and poor anyway
I mean vanilla character creator has sections for both facial and body scars already, as people said maybe the scars are removed after surgery or is a different procedure that is more expensive or maybe people just want their scars. In game lore doesnt really go that deep as far as customization and surgery goes, there's plenty of npc's with scars too.
Ye, I'm trans and for 1, having scars instead of just having a regular male body is downright silly, and 2, these look fresh out the butcher shop lmao. Scars are faded they aren't gigantic red cuts and even in our current world scars aren't that visible.
I can't seem to get it to work at all. I followed the instructions and put the .archive in the /archive/pc/mod folder, deleted any mods that could be interfering with it, but it just doesn't want to work.
Thank you so much for this mod! Genuinely disappointed in the lack of customization for Cyberpunk, seen as though you can't sound fem + have male pronouns for example. Can't even be non-binary in a game where you break the binary, lol. BUT! This genuinely helps me a whole lot with roleplaying stuff and my personal character. Thank you so so much!
I'm not going to personally use the mod but I downloaded it and endorsed it to support it because I love the fact that you went through the trouble of creating this. Also, from the pictures it looks extremely well done! transrights!!!
