6/7 styles have been updated for patch 1.5, and can be used with the new hair colors. I'm so sorry, but the ponytail braid hairstyle will not be updated for several reasons, and I ask you all to kindly, please understand and respect that choice!! Regardless, I hope you all enjoy the updated hairstyles.
hi i tried your eyelash mod i found on your patreon but i have an issue where its clipping in photomode. it looks fine outside of photomode but not in it. idk what the issue could be
If anyone else is having trouble getting this to work like I did, here's a step by step that worked for me (as of 2.0):
- Extract the zip file - Take the individual archive files out of the folder (the game will not read them otherwise) - Place each archive file in "Cyberpunk2077/archive/pc/mod" (if you don't see "mod", create the folder)
To reiterate - you MUST unzip the mod, and then take all the archive files OUT of the folder. The game will not read them if they are still in the folder, even if the folder is unzipped.
Specifically for Cyberpunk - would recommend not to use vortex, it doesn't path the mods correctly, and also can cause issues. Try to manually place the mod in each respective folder. It may seem daunting at first, once you get the hang of it, though, should be a breeze.
Anub11ss I know this comment is old, but for you, and anyone else who wants to learn how to mod games; First off welcome to the community!
Here are some tips to get you started, and some commonly made mistakes.
1) First off, the nexus comments section is not a good place to ask general modding questions. As a general rule of thumb, the comments section for mods is good for giving positive feedback or making suggestions. Please make it clear though, that if you are making a suggestion, that it is just that, a sugestion. People tend to unaware of how important tone is when writing comments. It really isn't appropriate to give criticism on the mechanics of the mod itself since, remember, this is not a game dev. This person made this because they wanted to, if you don't want it in your game, or want something different, either don't download it, or make your own mod! Also if you have a bug report, that is obviously different than criticizing what the mod does, and that is okay, but should be done in the "bugs" section, not the comments.
2) As far as actually learning to mod, it requires some effort on your part, and it is different for every game. You are much better off googling how to mod that particular game first, and 9/10 you will find everything you need that way. If you don't, I suggest going to a modding forum for that game. The best places for that are usually here or reddit (I know reddit gets a bad rep, but it's alright if you avoid the frontpage and bigger subreddits). That is how most of us learn, and honestly it can be a bit irritating when people who are starting out ask questions that can be very easily found with a quick google search. Most people are not willing to write out step by step instructions for you, when those instructions already exist and are very accessible!
3) My final tip, is more of a suggestion/warning. Before you mod ANY game, you really need to understand that all these alterations to the game are created by fans, not supported by devs, and can very easily break your game, and be a HUGE pain to fix if you don't know what your doing. Those of us who are big into modding understand this, and to us, it's worth the trade off. This of course, can be minimized somewhat by knowing what you are doing, but it is always a risk, regardless of your skill level. If you have no interest in self-driven learning (ie reading tutorials, trying things through trial and error, etc) on your own, you really aught to stay clear of modifying your game entirely. That's not to say it's not okay to ask for help, but like I said, if you are asking a question that will be the first result on google if you just search it yourself, it shows a major unwillingness to learn, and if that's the case, you are probably biting off more than you can chew.
I hope this helps, I've been wanting to write this for a while because I'm constantly running into these kinds of questions on this site, regardless of which game. I'm probably going to copy this somewhere for later use.
Follow these steps, it'll get the mod working again.
- Extract the zip file - Take the individual archive files out of the folder (the game will not read them otherwise) - Place each archive file in "Cyberpunk2077/archive/pc/mod" (if you don't see "mod", create the folder)
