Yes, it in fact, does, i am using it, that is how i know. Better Netrunning lets you breach the enemy netrunners, and use them to upload mass versions of daemons, that affect the entire group.
Breach protocol was removed from the game with the 2.0 update, the only breaching left in the game is the physical connect to terminal/machine one but that only let's you hack for cash/hack recipes sadly you cant upload daemons anymore.
Hey, @OP. long shot, but I wanted to at least ask. Would you be cool if I tried to release an update to this for 2.0/PL? I miss getting to be The Best Netrunner in Night City
Scissors hasn't been active on this site in a year. Maybe try the modding discord to get in touch. Sucks their mod's permissions are so restrictive, but it's up to them.
Complexity refers to the Breach Protocol Daemon entry, and how many bits of code you need. Smaller complexity, fewer things to enter. Probability is just the chance for the Daemon in question to activate.
so you mean I can enter the code correctly but the daemon isnt guaranteed to activate the quickhack? If it doesnt activate then what? You breached for nothing at that point,,??
You can edit probability to 100% if it bothers you that much. Or at least you could, back when I last used it. Not sure its been updated for 2.0.1, so things might not work as intended.
The default breach daemons just gave you eddies and hack mats, so no they were automatically successful, provided you managed to input them. I think the idea was to have a bit of challenge. But anyway, hope the info helped.
+1 I rarely use it because it's so OP, but it's soooooo much fun when I do. My favorite opportunity is the gig in the Badlands where you need to break out this guy from a Militech border prison, ideally without killing anyone. One round of System Reset later and I just stroll right in ^^.

Edit: I don't see the breach protocol quickhack.
