Looks like patch 2.01 has addressed this issue. Just FYI.

      Patch notes confirmed.

      • Vehicle radio volume has been adjusted so it's no longer too quiet compared to other sounds in the game. If you've turned down the volume of other sounds in order to better hear the radio, you may want to re-adjust the volume before you continue playing.

Hahaha, this reminds me of that Aliens: Colonial Marines bug, where just editing the .ini file fixed most of the AI issues in that game, because the devs left a typo or two haha

Seriously, it's unreal. I can understand not being able to implement massive-scale features, but then there are the smallest things like this and the typos lol.

Sometimes such things are left by intend, because (for example) that parameter has been written like that wherever it is defined. They might have noticed it much later that they mispelled it, but for it to work they just kept it. I have seen this often in code, because it's sometimes easier to keep it with a mispelled definition than changing it in lots of files afterwards.

But it's very possible that the author here discovered a mistake. So is it confirmed that this "fix" is working? The parameter to me sounds like adding reverb effects based on location, like tunnels, etc. When driving through or even when talking some NPCs in certain locations, it would add audio effects to it. If the devs made a mistake here, then this feature wouldn't be working before. But in fact it does. I've noticed this reverd in such locations while playing. Maybe the volume or quality of sounds seem better with that effect disabled and that's why it seems to be improved?
So if you're using the "fix", does the reverb effects still work in tunnels (or wherever it used to be)?

As a gamedev myself, dtrail actually brought up a good point.
I've seen -lots- of typos roaming around between coders - and often fixing it is a "Don't fix it if it's not broken" thing.

Personally I think many volumes are off - that's why I installed another mod.

I'm going to tweak this (spotter's badge to the author), but deep inside I still ask to myself if I'm setting an unused parameter to an unused value.

Yet, if people notice a difference, it's probably working? (afterall the mod *adds* a setting, doesn't remove the misnamed one).

Are you using the Audio Overhaul mod? If so did you see a great difference? I would really like to make the radio music louder and I hate how the music goes into a mode where you would be listening to the music outside the car when you stop for a bit with the car.

Totally agree ! Why on earth the Dev's put this nonsense in is beyond me.

could you write or tell me how to  disable music while driving so theres no ambient stuff playing  while im listening to the radio?    this has bugged me from the start.    atm im just playing music on 70 so its less jarring but i still hear it kind of.

i would love to see this mod.  as i understand some cutscene type music would still need to play so i think  thats why  we still havent seen a mod like that.

Kinda feels like the audio is more popping/noticeable from another. Might be my imagination. But sure, why not. Feels like the radio in the car is a bit louder also. I felt that the radio in the car before installing this was kinda low. But sounds great now. -Endorsed

try merging all of them in one .ini file by copy pasting all of them in one .ini mod.

      Asking the same thing?

EDIT: well they have the same spelling error in CP 2077 game version 1.5 but it might be a spelling error but it is working, i know they had something similar thing in the game SKYRIM.

This mod can fix this? - https://youtu.be/lWzkLYcMSMo

Listened to it on studio equipment. And it turned out that the sounds did not disappear. The screams of the Delomaines, the roar of engines, and other background rattles are audible, but extremely quiet. How to fix it? It's like that throughout the game. A critical bug that affects the perception of the entire game!

I've played with this mod installed for a few hours now, and I'm still not sure what effect it actually has :P
The audio sliders always worked for me, but perhaps the Car Radio slider has a bit more of an effect now and the sound from radios placed in the world is a little bit more noticeable, but all that may just be my imagination.

did you check the sliders before installing or after? unlike other MOD, this is going to be turned on even if you remove the MOD because the default command line is not really doing anything.

Both, I guess? Like I said, I've never had any issues with the audio sliders. So if that's a common problem that this mod is supposed to fix then that part was unnecessary for me.
After playing some more, though, I do however think that the Car Radio Volume slider specifically (and only) has a bigger effect than before, but I can't be sure. And the general mixing of music against other sounds is better.

I dunno, just trying to figure out what exactly the SourceReverb variable does :P

I don't know exactly what this line affected because I stopped playing after I noticed the audio problems that's why I mostly only talked about the slider and radio because that's what stopped me from playing and made me searched the forums for a fix.

I actually found more wrong spelling in the dumped default .ini file like this one "OpcaityFill". I know it's wrong bucause above it is "OpacityOutline". it's in the character creation and not really breaking anything that's why I didn't posted a fix for it here in nexus.
