This mod is compatible with RedMod/the newest redscript version and cybercmd. If you have any issues please try the following before posting a bug report:
Make very sure you've installed Cyber Engine Tweaks, Codeware and Redscript
Make sure both dependencies are working.
Go to the <Cyberpunk2077>/r6/scripts directory
Make sure there is only one folder that starts with "appearanceChangeUnlocker". Delete all other "appearanceChangeUnlocker" folders.
Make sure there is no mirrorUnlocker.reds file in the <Cyberpunk2077>/r6/scripts directory. If there is -> delete it.
Now go to <Cyberpunk2077>/r6/cache
Delete the "modded" folder
If there is a "final.redscripts.bk" file, delete the "final.redscripts" file and rename the "final.redscripts.bk" file to "final.redscripts". If not, don't do anything.
Your game including my mod should work again. (Assuming you don't have any other issues with your cyberpunk installation)
If the mod still doesn't work AND you did find a "final.redscripts.bk" file in step 6 you have a problem with redscript. Please check an installation guide on how to properly install redscript because it seems like your installation is broken. Also, please check out the posts made by the author of redscript: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/1511?tab=posts - it seems like you need to install cybercmd if you are using redmod
I have exactly the problem. scrolling down doesn´t work. To be precise. it doesn´t work when the number of slots eg in hair color or eyes extends the number of vanilla/ default slots.
i cant scroll in the eye colours section either, its kinda annoying. it technically all works since you can just use the arrows in the main cc menu but its just a bit of a pain to get around
Ah, okay, glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue! I noticed it in eyes (and later added hair colors) and was trying to troubleshoot from them, but yeah, it seems to be this mod is the issue.
I'll keep a close eye here to see if we get any updates!
Oh, just wanted to add: this mod is amazing, just some of these bugs to sort out!!
You can save presets... load them and edit existing presets and re-save them, there is no problem with that, the only problem is that the scroll down doesn't work if there are more eyes, hair colors, etc than the default ones, otherwise the mod works perfectly, I save and load presets constantly.
Just delete "archive\pc\mod\AppearanceChangeUnlocker.archive" presets will also work and it will be possible to select hair, eye and nail colors normally
Is this mod abandoned/deprecated now? I know it's only been several months since the last update, but I don't see any activity from the Auth. since Dec. Perhaps he is taking a break from modding and/or intends to return to it later, or maybe I overlooked some activity. Just curious right now since at the time of writing this the mod remains viable as no new updates have rendered it obsolete.
From my understanding, the latest update changed so much with the character creator that this mod has to be rewritten from scratch which is why its taking so long.
Update the mod, this version does not work correctly, scrolling the eye color does not work, moreover, in the mirror menu, when selecting, the color changes, and after exiting, the eyes are always the same color, there is also a suspicion that when editing the face and exiting, the settings do not change!!!
Hi. Just wondering if you can save a preset after creating a character, or do I have to do it before finishing the initial Character Creation screen? Thanks to anyone who answers :)
I have different presets in game thaat in folder,in game i have some presets but in the normal folder of presets i have the defaults one,so where the hell this in game persets are
I just did a complete wipe of my game and all mods. 100% start fresh. I've downloaded the core mods like archive, codeware, red4ext, redscript, etc. I downloaded my body and face character mods first, which work. Downloaded 2 graphics mods, both fine. The 3rd step was this mod, an absolute necessity for me. Always installed on my previous 5 mod re-dos without having to do anything extra just fine.
Until now.
Got a redscript error on boot up. So I followed the instructions in the sticky post, deleted and renamed files as directed. No luck. Also tried deleting just the archive file as some commenters had suggested. Still no luck. I don't know how to attach the log file, so I am going to attach 2 screenshots. If anyone knows what it says, I would be really appreciative for a translation! Thanks!
*The one thing I wonder about is the part that reads, "Codeware.UI" has no members or does not exist. Codeware is DEFINITELY loaded into my game, so not sure what that means.
Well, scratch what I said. Codeware was NOT installed after all. Y'know, I've seen quite a few people bash vortex but I never had a problem with it. Until just recently. I felt like mods weren't running despite being "installed" via vortex. Turns out, vortex wasn't installing them!! Ugh. The thought of manually downloading and updating 500+ plus mods because I can't trust vortex now, is a little overwhelming.
Anyway, this is a good reminder kids, to always install the core mods manually, and then verify that vortex installs any other mods correctly!
With all that said, thanks for this crucial core mod Potato of Doom!
