Version 2.0
The ragdoll has been reconfigured from the ground up thanks to new information provided by WolvenKit 8.12. My thanks to the devs!
Thighs now bend sideways and forwards to a believable degree that favors natural-looking procedural animation and resting poses.
Arms now have a wider and more believable range of motion as well.
The torso bones and neck bones have had their flexibility reduced in certain areas to compensate for the higher flexibility in the limbs. This avoids ragdolls looking floppy or "crumpling" easily.
There is an experimental optional file that lowers ragdoll friction, allowing them to slide more easily across surfaces. This can lend a sense of weight to them, but it can also look too slippery in some cases, which is why it's optional. It is incompatible with any other mod that edits the file physicsmaterials.physmatlib.
There is a (very) experimental optional file that removes death animations. Keep in mind it still has glitches and might break stuff. It is incompatible with any other mod that edits the file death.behavior.
There is a video showcase available at the top of the description below.
Version 1.2
Improved neck flexibility to dangle more believably.
Made torso bones more flexible. Ragdolls are now "danglier", which gives them more "bounce" and the illusion of weight.
Made thighs and knees less flexible to stop ragdolls from crumpling in on themselves in weird ways.
Slightly increased collision capsule size on thighs to prevent too many instances of NPCs ending up with their legs crossed.
Made manual installation easier, and enabled Vortex installation.
Added a (hastily edited) video showcase. You can find it in the Videos tab or in the mod description.
Version 1.1
Added NPC model that was missing from previous version. Flexibility settings and wonky leg fix have been applied.
