This mod is amazing, however, it feels like I am cheating. Is there a way to make a version of it that auto-applies buffs by using the consumables from the inventory? Many thanks.
Like with any mods that makes you feel like you're cheating by it's own mechanics, simply compensate with your imagination.
Found a bed in a safe zone or one in relative safety somewhere else? How about some coffee or energy drink? Apply Rested Buff. Somewhere far from home for awhile? Been doing back to back missions? Remove the buff
Justify it all by throwing away consumables. It's easy to not allow yourself to cheat by making a deal with yourself to do X for Z.
Also, there are mods that just increase the durations as well. Type in " buff " into the search bar and you'll find 3 separate mods for Energized, Refreshed and Rested. <3
As in, can be installed/tracked by vortex, enable/disable as needed, alert of updates, etc.
Just had to wipe all my addons and vortex was able to reinstall all of them...except this one because it wasn't on the list. Had to come manually search for it and download it again.
Yeah man, I understand your position. But perhaps you should know that after 2004 modding in GTA:SA & Sims2 - is pretty much where Morrowind/Oblivion built the modding community of FO3/FNV and then Skyrim. During this time we perfected survival mechanics in ways that were fun to use; instead of it being a chore or work; it was simplified, and after this reflected off the video game industry in design/development; it also bounced off indie games & small teams.
From this we get one of the current niche trends in gaming today; which is moving toward including a life simulator in the digital world to serve as non-violent activities, and basically filler for the game world as it serves to support the suspension of disbelief. In example; the psychological effect of at least partially being able to believe that this digital world exists; visa vi - supporting game play and immersion - Suspending disbelief & encouraging imagination. CDPR is doing this as well with CP77 here; for these elements, and for the same reasons.
You define your reality, and here it is something that was meant to be enjoyed. Having a moment where you didn't do the same thing you have been doing inside the game; for the entire time you have been playing the game. What we would like to do is provide interactive entertainment which is simulating a digital world; or at least here simulating the experience and perception of being inside a simulated world. There is progressive role play, and then there is what is even more progressive than that; as we gleam the cube while outside the box to push our self further.
Do you have time and effort to spend on pretending this experience in interactive entertainment is real. Do you treat it as real? Do you run through bushes, and jump off buildings? Do you jump over and over because you grinded to much XP, and now your brains are mush!? Who do you think is in control of all this stuff? It is us! We are in control of it. What we want to think, say, and do can be different than what the media and video game industry wants us all to think, say, and do the same things. WE CAN DO OUR OWN THING! It is our game. It is our time.
Don't be like those dead people. SNAP OUT OF IT! Set your self free from the video game industry and media. Set your self free from the gaming community. You have the life! Isn't that enough? We are all being controlled by the gaming industry and media so that we all think, say, and do the same things. That's okay, but... WE CAN STOP DOING THAT! We can do exactly what we want in gaming, all the time. There is nothing limiting us, but the human nature and lack of philosophy combined with traditional Marxist consumer based lifestyles leaves us vulnerable to manipulation.

Does it work with patch 2.2?
Almost like the Witcher 3 auto apply oil mod
