One of the reasons to run old copies would be running the game in subpar machines. Like my 3400G ran V1.2 just fine. But stopped working altogether after v 1.6x.
Is it possible to make it really realistic? Its more than Vanilla but still far from the real world. A frontal crash at high speed should result in a total crash with a high fire risk or even an instant explosion depending on the vehicles.
Or, in which way do I adjust the numbers in the files - which file does what? E. g.
I mean, I'm just looking for a mod that makes collisions more... needforspeed-y instead of having every scratch ending up as if you wrecked the car in full frontal collision with an immovable object... like why the hell does crashing into a wall at ~10 degree angle result in dam near a backflip of your car and killing all your momentum? In any racing game of my youth, crashing into a wall at low enough angle (like, <15 degrees) resulted in very little to no speed reduction, you just kinda.. "bounced off" of that wall.
Cyberpunk's vehicles are so badly done (in all ways except visual) that I rather just sprint&parkour everywhere. It's not worth the headache. You can ram all other vehicles, but a carboard box on the floor will bitchslap your car into opposite direction.. honestly I'm kind of in awe that they could mess up this badly and leave it in game for 3+ years. They could've hired at least one dev with racing game/driving simulator experience to make this feel at least tolerable, it's not like CDPR is strapped for money... now or in the past
And I thought it was needforspeed-y already ^^ I loved the realistic car crash mod in GTA IV where I tuned the number so that car crashes are really ... amazing. I think that's the difference - I look for action due to risky driving and really hard consequences with big crashes. My dream would be to have BeamNG-y collisions and behaviour.
This mod makes it at least bearable. But I also still would rather parcour everywhere often enough.
I thought this mod only decreases the value it takes before a car looks damaged, how can that affect gravity of cars and bikes? If this mod actually changes the weight or gravity or friction of cars, it's a lot less compatible with mods that change those stats of cars to change their driving behavior and fix vehicle handling.
just a comment i had as a request that cars were lighter like when the game first released. I have not played 2077 in a while so i wouldnt know. I did make some mods for 77 up on Nexus though. maybe one day ill mess with the gravity.

Now I have a gpu, so all is good.

Thank you for this mod! I don't want to complain - it is a MUST for me to make that game playable, so thanks for the work!

Can someone confirm?
