I presume CDPR changed some inner working of the cyberware arms to accommodate the new system (for example, you can now remove cyberarms, which wasn't possible in the original game). That may cause some issues with the mod like having multiple hands/organic hands showing through the cyberware etc. Here is how to get the mod to work properly:
1. If installed, uninstall the mod (just the mod from this page, Halvkyrie's mod and other requirements don't need to be removed) 2. Go to the Ripperdoc and remove your current cyberarms if you have any 3. Save and reload the game 4. Install the mod 5. Go to the Ripperdoc and install the Monowire 6.If you experience any visual bugs, save and reload the game, that should fix the issues
I won't be updating the mod to fix anything due to CDPR's system already being bugged (I already have issues with lingering visual bugs from just removing the cyberarms in the unmodded game), and I don't have enough modding knowledge to fix that, either. THE BUG WITH CLIPPING WEAPONS

I've tried to reproduce the problem in my own game in the past, but it just never worked out. I don't know what's causing it, and I realised at some point I spent more time trying to figure out what was wrong than I did on making the mod, so I gave up.
If you figure out the solution/what is causing the issue, you are welcome to post it in the comments, and I will see if I can make a fix for the mod. Any further repots of the problem will be deleted.
Does this still work? My V's hands look like the normal cyberarms + the skin on the hand has black texture scattered over it. The wires on the forearm work fine. Please help! this is what it looks like: https://imgur.com/a/3e90G72
Yeah, I guess the patch broke something about it, it doesn't work for me either. I'll probably look into that a little later, but can't promise any fixes.
Alt's hand (right) clips through the skin, might be because I have Hyst's body installed idk. It also completely disappears when I actually use the monowire. Left doesn't even show up

Also please note that the mod only changes the right Monowire arm. The left Monowire arm from the screenshots 1 and 3 comes from a different mod called Arasaka Cyberarms >>> https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/1099 (I'm using the thin Monowire replacer with Kitch nails in Mox colours). The arm from screenshot 2 is an unreleased edit of Mox kitch cyberarms (which is too raw to be shown to public, I'm not planning on posting it).
Currently the mod always loads the base game texture of the organic skin part of the right arm, is it possible to update the mod such that right arm organic skin textures of other mods can be used?
Hey I was just wondering if there was any way to fix a the clipping problem I was having while holding most pistols and knives, it makes a part of my hand see through or something and I do not understand how to fix it, I was really looking forward to doing an Alt build and this would be pretty swell to have
And it's an issue that occurs to some players, but I personally have never been able to reproduce it in my game, and I have never figured out what's causing it. It's probably mod conflict, but honestly idk. I have no plans on fixing it since I don't mod the game actively at the moment, sorry.
is there a way to replace just the vanilla arm? or whatever the right hand arm is for the launcher? i know it can't be used for the launcher but its my right hand on my gorilla arms and its bugging me that my arm swaps to a vanilla hand whenever i use the launcher lol
I guess? Maybe? AFAIK V's normal arms are a separate model, just like the cyberarms are. Theoretically, that should be possible. However, I made this mod specifically because I needed this for the monowire, and I'm not modding the game anymore, so I'm not taking any requests.
You can try the Cyberpunk modding discord to see if you can make a request for that/find out how to make such a mod yourself 。^‿^。
Honestly, no idea, since I don't know how the accessories work in Halvkyrie's original mod.
However, both this and the original mod have blanket permissions on modifying all files as long as you credit Halvkyrie/me as the author. So you are welcome to try unpacking both mods in WolvenKit to see if a compatibility patch can be made :)
lol, I've no idea how to even begin. I've installed WolvenKit, got the basic structure of it figured out, I think; found the correct mod files I think... but, no idea how to proceed or what exactly needs replacing.

Yeah, it's a thing that happens, apparently, but I've given on trying to replicate it. It's always worked fine for me. It *may be* (read: likely) a conflict with another mod, but I don't really have the energy for trying to figure out what thing specifically causes it.
what exactly did you download cause its not working for me. hand is transparent on the thumb area. Can you point out which accessories you downloaded on Halv's mod?
did you change the load order of the requirements perhaps? im trying to get this figured out as this is the only cyberarm mod that works for the monowire that doesnt clip through clothes. Please help :(
