Please check Changelogs for newer versions details.v2.5.0 available.
What's new:
Main Quest re-tracking preventer - a new feature that aims to prevent the game from automatically switching quest trackers back to active main quest objective after completing some other quest.
Please note this feature is only available in the game v2. Also please note it is not enabled by default.
How it works:
- it prevents re-tracking main quest objectives that were previously untracked using this mod (not untracked using the new game's Quest Journal untrack functionality or by switching objectives in the Quest Journal or the Map menu), - it's active only while playing the game so it does not prevent you from manual main quests selection in menus, - it respects the mod track-back feature so you can still revert to a previously untracked main quest, - to enable this feature please visit the mod's CET window and tick the Prevent Main Quests re-tracking option.
v2.4.0 available.
What's new:
Adds confirmation sounds selection so you can select a sound that will play on pressing the tracking toggle key while playing (not in menus). Inspired by DBK01 request.
v2.3.0 available.
What's new:
- streamlined tracking toggle audio feedback, - audio feedback on/off option, - mouse tracking toggle button hint in the Map and an option to enable/disable it, - user settings control in the mod's CET menu window, - the left shift + right mouse click troggle while playing is not enabled in default setting (on a new clean install). Existing mouseSupportFlags.json settings will be honored. - new user settings scheme and file. Contents of the legacy mouseSupportFlags.json file will be automatically promoted to the new scheme.
I just had the weirdest issue, I thought I should report it here since I seen other people have previously reported that this mod mad their map stutter. But I am not sure if the problem was caused by this mod or a conflict with another mod. I installed "Untrack Quest Ultimate" and "Idle Anywhere" at the same time.
First I noticed when opening my map it would stutter bad. Then after a few minutes I noticed my frame rate dropped from ~100FPS to ~25FPS with a regular "hitching" stutter every 5 seconds or so. Here are the steps I went through to resolve it:
1. Disabled menu buttons for Untrack Quest Ultimate. 2. Restarted PC. 3. Disabled Idle Anywhere(and it's dependency Deceptious Quest Core) and then Untrack Quest Ultimate. Tried them one at a time restarting game and testing. 4. Uninstalled both mods and restarted PC. Finally got my FPS back.
I'm not certain which mod was conflicting with what. But here is my mod list. https://pastebin.com/UfstfCHf I'll test installing them one at a time later and see if I can recreate the issue.
Install it and find out. Found this 20 min ago after getting annoyed with the constant activation for the main quest - just did a gig and it worked for me, Nocturne didn't flare up as usual.
Lol ... "Install it and find out" ... .nice way to say FAFO ... running out of date mods that deal with quests is a good way to screw your save. That's why people ask first.
The mod is awesome, thanks so much! I do have a weird issue, I am unable to find the window within CET. I wanted to disable the auto-tracking of the main quest but unfortunately it does not appear to show in my CET. Any idea what's going on?
Edit: I should add, when I open the bindings page under CET I do not see anything for Untrack Quest Ultimate. I installed it through Vortex.
The CET menu window name is: Quest Tracking Toggle. In the CET Bindings window, it should appear under QuestTrackingToggle name. Sorry for the confusing names. The mod has evolved from a much simpler form, which at some point required rebranding on Nexusmods while still maintaining backward compatibility with older versions. This, in turn, required keeping the technical names unchanged.
However, it's unclear if the mod is installed properly. Can you find this line in the CET console when scripts start? Quest Tracking Toggle: v2.7.4 initialized.
Alternatively, can you find it in your game directory? It should be located in: "...\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\QuestTrackingToggle" folder.
Sorry, no gamepad support in CET. additionally, the gamepad limited hardware resources combined with the game’s dynamic button functionality management, leave no room for convenient, reliable and uncontested by other mods button combinations that I could use.
Most have Mod, find work this. Small question, is it possible to make a mod that disables some other auto features? like no auto weapon when pickup bodies or getting out of cars? thanks for this Mod.

I have crated a mod that allows to control weapons when picking up bodies:
Game v2.0 patch - No Forced Weapon On Carrying Bodies
But great mod anyway!
