Way I found this mod is by trying to search for something to remove THIS. Really hope someone can remove the effect, it baffles me why it's even there in the first place. I just zoom in to make the game more cinematic at times, but the distortion kills any immersion I gain from it. Can imagine it can boost immersion for others, but I'm definitely not one of those people.
This mod is what I've been looking for! Thank you for looking into this! I've downloaded the version that take away the ambient noise that happens after using Ultimate Hack that keeps looping until you hit TAB again...And the mod works very well, but with it, the same sound loop starts happening after using Contagion Quickhack. Any solution to this? TKS!
Incompatible with other mods that edit 'eventsmetadata.json'.
Use THIS method instead! This way you won't need to update the mod every time the game updates. Nor will you leave your users with out-of-date sound events file if you decide to abandon this mod. In which case your users will be left with a mod that still works "as intended" but messes up a miriad of in-game sound events (like de-sync/missing sounds) and will never suspect your mod for it...

Came here looking for this, it sucks, I wanna see NPC faces close up, and without the muffling effect.
This doesnt work. Your folder structure is totally incorrect.
Nevermind. Just ignore me. This rules. Cheers! My bad I didn't know about the redmod change in my time away. Hope you'll make a non redmod version.
