Confirmed works with 2.2. But prices scale with character level so it's crazy expensive as you progress. Make sure you change the prices manually in the Bulk Materials Store.reds file
So question; not sure if its a bug or working as intended but just got past The Heist and have been mainly doing side content before tackling the main quests.
Before the heists the stacks were at 85k, reasonable if a little cheap towards the end game.
Now at lvl 25-ish, I just checked the stacks for the tier 5 components, 300 materials for that jumped from 85k to over 1.3 mil.
Is that intended? For it to scale with your level?
Cause if you hit lvl 60 I'm kinda scared what the price is gonna be then really.
The store sells the materials for whatever the game's default value is. Pre-2.0 that was a fixed value, but since 2.0 that seems to scale with level. If you'd rather they sell for a flat cost, you can open up the .reds file in a text editor and look for the "//Cost" section and change the zeroes to any number you'd like. They should be in the same order as the labels in the "//Items" section.
Prices on Green and Blue components (all categories) are more expensive than the Purple and Golden ones. Seems like CDPR increased the value of those starter items for whatever reason.
It's a little bit of work, but you can edit the .reds file to remove the quickhack components. On the description page I briefly explain how to edit the file to your liking. The main sections to delete are the sections labelled //Quickhack Materials for the various stacks
If you use notepad+ (or your favorite text editor), you can remove the sections contaning the quickhack components. I should probably add some additional comments to the main file better explaining this process. Unfortunately I've been busy away from the game. Eventually I may do the edits myself for an optional file, but it'll likely be a week or two before I get the free time to come back to updating the file. If you'd like to experiment with editing yourself, feel free to DM me with any edits you want to implement and I can help you out with the process.
Oh wow, thank you very much for taking the time to try to help me with this! Life can get busy, I totally understand!
I'm absolutely clueless about this stuff but removing //Quickhack sections seem straightforward. However, there is a section with a lot of zeroes in a vertical line, do I have to edit that section too? It says "Cost - A value of 0 scales it to base game data."
... a bit later coming back to this than I'd thought <_<. There's definitely something odd going on in the Cost syntax, and I'm honestly not sure why. Maybe I knew 2 months ago, but need to look into it again after the extended break from the game heh. For some reason, that section needs 4 extra rows of 0's there than there are items listed or it throws a compilation error. Removing the QH sections just... doesn't behave as I expected. I'll look into it a bit more over the next couple days.
FWIW, it's still working on 1.62... Just not sure why it's being finicky when trying to make a no-quickhack version.
Nice! Thank you!! I was in the process of trying to figure out how to make stacks myself. I was using Crafties store and editing it to add materials for Drone Companions too. Any chance you'd consider adding compatibility for Drone Companions?
Added a version with Drone Modules as an optional file. Haven't used Drone Companions much so I'm not sure about balancing the stack sizes. Sells stacks of 5 and 15 for drone modules, plus the 50/300 options for crafting/quickhack mats.
Is this working? I've wanted to download a whole bunch of things this afternoon which say they need Virtual Atelier but that it crashes the system on 1.6 :(
