"I figured it out!" Is the most infuriating thing to see under a post where someone had an issue. You wanted other people to help you but you cant be bothered to help others by letting them know how you fixed it?

In order to change the sitting animation you first need Sit Anywhere mod (kinda obvious I guess xD) and Nattive Settings. Then you will have "mods" menu when you press Esc. Inside "mods", you will see "sit Anywhere" options, and there, you can change the animation. Screenshots here are showing the "Right Hand On Backrest" animation. Hope this helped!

back 2 years later. Was about to s#*! on this person again when i realized I already had.

Gonna add now though - they really ought to shadow ban people who do this. If you wont provide when it is easy for you to do so, you do not deserve to receive from others who would be generous

"i figured it out" simply means that the op understood he was a little dumbie, the solution was right under his nose. It was so obvious, he believed that nobody else would need it too! And because he doesnt want to feel the shame of having asked for nothing, he puts the topic under the rug.

      Right? right?

Would it be possible to add an invert mouse option?  I have y axis inverted for normal play, but it switches to standard y axis on sitting.  (Or maybe this is a question for the Sit Anywhere mod itself?)

Inverted mouse option? Never heard of that one.. Though I can completely understand the idea because it's 100% necessary for joysticks for me, as a Y-axis invertee myself.

Also, because I can't help myself.. here's a great way to annoy Y-Axis normies by proving they're the ones playing "inverted" with this information:

"Pretend a joystick is stuck on top of your head, and your head reacts to the input of the joystick, just like in a video game. If you push the joystick forward ["up", in normie-terms], you will actually be looking downward at the ground, NOT up at the sky. But if you pull the joystick backwards, ["down", in normie-terms], you will find your head is looking upwards at the sky. THIS is technically the correct and "standard" Y-axis controls for a joystick, which is completely based on how the human head/neck works - any airplane pilot would agree."

I always found it odd it took soooo fuckin' long for video games to universally adapt a setting that corrects the mistake video-games have been making for decades, and even still some games in the last 10 years have required an update after release to add the "invert Y-axis" option in the settings [after people like me b&@*$&moan about it because we are otherwise gimped in gameplay].

Works fine on 2.1 with no troubles. This mod doesn't modify any game process or script actually, so you don't need to worry about that.

Tweak file contain only 1 settings line, thats change FPV cam position a little, thats it:
    fppCameraParamSets.WorkspotLocked.pitchMin: -34.0

Also, from personal experience I recomend you to change this value to -29.0 , because if you look down, you'll see the neckline of your T-shirt - now try this IRL, but be careful, don't break your neck :D
For male V at least - I don't tested it for fem V, so value can be different, you can easily pick it up and change with Notepad++

Pls excuse my bad english if I made any mistakes

Sit Anywhere mod was released for 2.1 and worked after CET and core mods were updated. I installed this mod and launched the game and it crashed when loading a save and when starting a new game. I removed the mod and the game appears to be working again. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this.

Haven't experienced any crashes with this mod enabled on a new game, post 2.1. However, I have not had a chance to actually "Sit Anywhere" yet, will report back once I do.
