This mod is magic. I was using the performance boost optional file from cyber drift (which will conflict with this one due it editing FloodMinNonLoadingThreads). I ran the bench mark without yours and my min fps was 26, max was 96 fps, and average was 64. Then I ran it again with your mod and with out the other file and the increase was in that average fps was +1, max fps was -1 but the magic happened on the min fps which was +25 fps. Now the game is butter smooth. Thank you for this!
I'm running on a Ryzen 9 3900xt CPU and RTX 3070, 32gb of ram
Gained like 5-10 FPS on most pop places. Thank you so much for this, im now able to play with raytracing with a decent fps amount, on ULTRA/psycho. I will try it with my girlfriend computer tomorrow, i think she will enjoy it ! (she play on a GTX 1060, it will be a good game changer for her)
Also i see the notepad for autosave, and i totally remove the autosave option i think i gained 1 fps or something like that, still good to take. I always press F5 to save soo :)
We are waiting for your updates. I get 10 15 FPS difference. my system; AMD 3900x CPU 32GB Ram RX 5700 OC At high settings, sometimes 55-50 FPS, I experience instant drops. Normally I get 80-90 Fps. In addition, there is an unusual fps drop while driving. I realized it was because of Motion capture. Your mod is really nice. Graphically, there is no difference in the game. We are waiting for your updates. I wish you continued success. I'm following.
Note: The settings that affect the game the most. Reflections. And shadows.
Unnecessary settings; Volumetric smoke (cloud) I don't think anyone paid attention to this during the game. It makes a lot of difference in the game.
Thanks for these. Used everything but the RTX, Mip Bias and Save/Loading tweaks on my potato setup, and the jump in avg and min FPS was substantial with little to no quality loss.
Edit: my Ultra+ settings are PTNext, Fast, 30 SHaRC
Just wanted to share a quick round of tests I did with this mod added after I already had Ultra+ enabled. This is on a rig with a 9800X3D and a 4090. Running at 1440p but with DLDSR 2.25x, DLSS on Quality (Performance mode gives me stutters for some reason?), Frame gen: On, Path Tracing: On, Other graphics settings all maxed out. The results are from the built-in benchmark, I know it's not great nor indicative of in-game performance but I wanted to use something that's the same on each run.
Using CET version, all settings options in GPI: off (going to try async next)
Tests:
Frametime chart for each run. (not scientific but maybe someone wants to see the chart).
Async: On. Interestingly, the results seem a lot more consistent with Async on. But these are just 3 runs for each.
Edit: Major tip for others with a 9800X3D (and maybe other 3D vcache chips) that are trying to get a stutter free experience, I finally achieved what I consider a VERY smooth experience even with these high settings. Basically you download Ryzen Master, change the view to "Advanced" and select "Game Mode". This really made a huge difference for me. Also using this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/338
Running GPI: ON for now as it's running great and ASYNC: Off. My understanding is that ASYNC is for offloading computing from CPU to GPU and being that my GPU is at 100% usage, that's probably not helping.
edit 2: Another tip for 9800X3D folks is to set your ram UCLOCK mode to MEMCLK/2
hey there, just wanna say this mod works wonders for me, but i noticed that ambients and lighting seems to be brighter and feels like there is lacking in shadows. does the mod change those aspect by any chance? im using the CET version
Reading through the description I see that you said this conflicts with Ultra+ PT/RT features. Does that mean if I'm not using Pathtracing or Raytracing that I should be fine to use both of these mods together? Would there even be a point to using both together if possible?
Installed the CET version and ran the benchmark and the mod did not provide any performance increase. (Avg. fps without mod = 94.31 Avg. fps with mod = 94.42). Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would love to experience the fps gains that other people have been seeing.
It usually makes a bigger difference in 1%/0.1% low FPS numbers than for average FPS for most people (so less impactful drops), but there's also always a chance it won't improve FPS at all on some hardware, or even reduce performance for some people (unlikely, but have had a few rare reports of it)... There's no magic one-size-fits all tweak that can be made... You can try adjusting the values in the files and experimenting yourself, or try other mods and see if they help... Sorry, but not much else I could really say/do about it...
I'm just going to leave this comment here for everyone else's caution.
I recommend that you NEVER use the "0SavingLoadingTweaks.ini" file. I used it for a bit, let's say 2 days-ish, and it worked perfectly. I only ever used it for the "10 minute autosave" time. But, after I loaded up a save to see what the other dialogue options were, (Pisces, side with or don't side with Maiko). Every, and I mean every single "Autosave-0" and "Quicksave-0" etc. were all gone, it was all deleted. Good thing I manually saved an hour prior, so I had to do quite a few other things to get back to where I was. I then deleted the .ini, just in case.
So either find another way to make the autosave time to 10 mins. Or stick with the vanilla autosave time.
(P.S. I did back up my saves a day prior, but afterwards I grew trustful and unwary that the .ini won't stab me in the back. The back up saves was not going to do anything in that situation. Unless you're paranoid, you can back up the save files every time before you boot up the game.)
Was previously using Ultra Plus, but gave this a shot. I'm getting at least a +5 fps bump to 85 fps on my in-game benchmark on my potato GTX 1070. Then I turned on the Resolution Scaling Tweaks button you implemented and hit 88+ fps with DLSS on using FSR3 Frame Gen for Cyberpunk 2077 (DLSS Enabler 2077 Edition) You're getting kudos for this one. Thank you.
A word of caution to anyone looking to use this mod - THOROUGHLY test your settings WITH and WITHOUT it, as the mod actually makes my game perform worse. To OP: I have read your sticky, I'm not reporting this as a bug; this post is purely informational.
In-game settings: - Game Ver.: 2.13 (Modded) - Resolution: 1920x1080, Windowed Fullscreen, No V-Sync - AMD FSR 3.0 (Auto, No Sharpness) + AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Gen - All MAX (Ultra/High) with these exceptions: SSR, AO - OFF, Volumetric Fog Resolution - Low - FoV 100, HDD Mode OFF
What mods/settings are you using to get that kind of performance? I can't crack 100 with 3060. My CPU is Ryzen 7 6800H, so that may be a factor. I have 16 RAM DDR5 and 6 GB VRAM.

I don't expect any more bugs, but you never know what could creep up...
Please don't report "I get lower FPS with this" as a bug (if this somehow happens to anyone)... Comment here instead...

It also did wonders on my Macbook Pro with a RX560.
Thank you!
And thanks for splitting it in well described setting category files so users can easily identify it and choose preferred settings.

Good luck everyone!
and thank you for the mod and goodwork!
Sometimes the game still hiccups a bit when driving though. Do you recommend any mods to use with this one to get the best fps possible?
