You get Pacifism failed because a fact has been set by the game that you killed something. This can happen with crates, killing robots and normally eliminations
For some reason it's not consistent for me. Managed to find a part of the game where the messages show and saved it to use as control. So far there's no apparent pattern why it stops working, except every time it happens the mod will ping "FactsLog Ready" repeatedly in console every ~5 secs.
Edit: Pacifism failed message always works. Also, reloading all mods with CET before reloading a save seems to have a chance of kickstarting the facts messages again (not 100%)
Yeah, this was caused by the 1.3 update, which messed up how the mod handled facts, causing it to ignore all facts. Revert back to 1.2 for a more consistent experience
Unzip the folder you download into the Cyberpunk2077 folder (the one that has the x64 in it) and it should go to the right place. You need to have Cyber Engine Tweaks installed to run the mod
awesome idea, but where should these files go...? I'm GUESSING this would go under mods folder for CET, but that's just a guess, and I'm not inclined to experiment with dropping a bunch of scripts somewhere with no certainty they belong there.
Also, it's unclear, but from the sheer expansiveness of the Version 1 under Old Files, compared to the "Quick Fix" that is the only version under Main Files, it seems like the current Main File only contains updates to some of the files, and one would need to download Version 1 as well...?
Nope! Things have been streamlined. The most recent version has all the files you need. And that's correct, you should unzip the factlog folder to mods/factlog and CET will be able to run it properly. Also, I'm releasing a new update soon which should improve the program even more, so you may want to use Vortex to get the update automatically. (Also, if you install via vortex it should go to the correct place. Lmk if that's not the case)
Thought I edited but, yeah, I put it there, but I did it with old and new version combined. Makes sense that the new is just streamlined, because that combo version was eating the hell out of my CPU, lol. I install manually (had too many issues all the times I've tried to use Vortex), but I regularly check in for updates. I usually browse through "most recently updated" on Nexus every 3-5 days, to see what's new and who has updated their stuff. I use so many mods, it's the only decent way to keep them up-to-date. Not to mention, when I was using Vortex, there were several instances where I was browsing and found a mod had updated, but Vortex didn't recognize one was available for that mod.
Other than eating my processor up (which it sounds like is most likely user-error), the mod is an excellent tool. Great work and much appreciated.
You're in luck with the processer issue, because that's what's being addressed in this update. There were a minor issues here an there, but by far the largest issue was that CET was logging the 23 thousand fact checks, which happen very often, so the CET Debug Log was putting severe strain on memory. This problem is FIXED in version 1.3
Awesome! Just picked it up, and I expect that will do even more wonders. But, simply installing the newest version properly (fixed per your feedback), without the original version's baggage, fixed the massive performance hit (literal stuttering and crashing, and I'm running a ryzen 7 5800, granted it's a laptop, but still, the one thing this baby has going for it is the CPU).
Look forward to trying this one out! Thanks again for the preem work!!

I'd suggesting downloading Version 1.2 over version 1.3, though

Something like: go there, you will get further instructions on what to do next?
