    TROUBLESHOOTING QUESTIONS

    Q: When I try to pickpocket, the key prompt when I get behind someone is showing as "[Invalid Input]."
    A: Install/Update Input Loader to latest version (see red4ext/logs/red4ext.log to confirm whether Input Loader is running / if it is outdated)

    Q: When I try to buy Stealthrunner perks nothing happens.
    A: Install/Update Input Loader to latest version (see red4ext/logs/red4ext.log to confirm whether Input Loader is running / if it is outdated)

    Q: I have gotten enough Ghost rewards to receive a perk point, but in the Stealthrunner menu it says I have 0 perk points. Where is my perk point?
    A: The mod doesn't have special Stealthrunner perk points, they're just normal perk points. So you likely got the perk points and spent them on other things.

    Q: When I open the Stealthrunner menu, all of the perk levels and stats are showing "-1".
    A: The CET part of the mod is not installed or CET is not working generally. Try installing Cyber Engine Tweaks and this mod again. If CET is working you should be able to bring up the CET console using a keybind you set on first run. This mod's CET log is at Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\StealthRunner\StealthRunner.log

    GAMEPLAY QUESTIONS

    Q: Why does this quest have No-Touch, or Ghost, etc.? Don't I have to do [insert my assumption about the quest]?
    A: Please actually try to finish a quest with that objective before posting to say the objective is not possible. Maybe you don't know all the ways the quest can be completed. Or maybe I made a mistake, but you should test it before posting about it.

    Q: I am failing an objective that I don't think I should be failing in X quest.
    A: I have tested every single quest and gig in the game and have attempted to make sure that only achievable objectives are shown. There can be mistakes, though. So if you see an objective displayed, it means I thought it was possible to get. If you think it's impossible (with ALL loadouts), or it's failing for some reason (this happens due to forced scripted combat, etc.), please make a video showing what happens. You might think you're failing an objective for no reason or some specific reason, but it might be a different one that I know about.

    It could also be helpful if you share a save from before completing the quest.

    Q: In gig X it isn't possible to get No-Touch and Shadow at the same time. Or It isn't possible to get Hero and No-Touch at the same time. Is that intended?
    A: Yes, that's just how it is for some gigs (and notably for all Hero objectives). You can't always do everything!

    Q: Why do objectives fail after I complete a quest? I go back to kill everyone and lose Ghost, Pacifist, etc.?
    A: By default objectives can be failed after completing a quest, but only for the last quest completed. There is an option to change this, under the "Rewards" section in the mod's settings, "Objectives from completed quests can be failed", which you can turn off.

    Q: What are the CET commands to give myself Ghost/etc. points?
    A: You can change these numbers to get more at a time. Shadow is "UltraGhostAward".

    To get the perk points and item unlocks for reaching certain levels you would need to save and reload for a check on game load, or gain a reward the normal way through a quest.

    In version 1.5.0 I made a big reduction to the default reward thresholds. This mean you will get perks sooner and faster, and if you load up a save you might have some new perks (or items unlocked) right away without getting any notification.

    The reduction is by about a third, followed by some tweaking here and there. If you want to keep the old numbers, set the "Objective reward level multiplier" setting to 1.5 to get *pretty close to* the old numbers, BEFORE you load your save.

    Thanks for making this, it's completely changed the way I play and I've found ways to do quests I never expected. When I failed the Pacifist objective in the Gig "For My Son" 8 or 9 times, I was ready to come here to tell you that you screwed up. But when I payed more attention I
    realized that if I knocked him out a new objective appeared instead. I never would have realized I could deliver that guy to El Capitan alive
    without this, so thanks for that.

    I do have one issue, and there's a good chance it's user error or I misunderstood something. I keep failing the no-touch objective using various quickhacks. Your post on the main page said quickhacks that don't increase trace don't count, but I'm failing the objective using things like System Collapse. Weird thing is, I don't remember it doing it all the time, there have been times I've been able to no-touch just system collapsing people I needed out of the way, but at some point it stopped working. Does that change per Gig? Even the combo of the ultimate version of Memory Wipe + Reboot Optics + Sonic Shock to knock them out fails no-touch. So am I doing something wrong or is this not how it's supposed to be working?

      Yeah I have had to reword that description multiple times and need to do it again. The intention is "no attacks", and so system collapse is obviously an attack. Other hacks that don't damage enemies but initiate traces are perceived as attacks by the enemies because they are doing the trace. I've just had a hard time capturing it all in a short text.

      Ahhh I see, so essentially only things like sonic shock/memory wipe, reboot optics, bait, and the like? But triggering the shutdown with the combo would be an attack?

    Can i disable the whole mod without uninstalling the mod? like suppose i have one profile where i play with the stealthrunner mod, but i wanna play a different profile where i dont want this mod. so can i disable the mod so that i can play my other saves?

      No there's no on/off switch, sorry. You can disable the HUD elements pretty easily (two switches), but you would still occasionally get rewards if you happen to complete the objectives, and the perk menu would still be there. Might be something I could add to the mod at some point.

    This is a brilliant mod and I really wish there was more gameplay related stuff like this.
    It still feels, even after several years since this game came out, that most mods are cosmetics or quality of life.
    Inspired addition to the game this is!

    In the following gig, entering the car automatically initiates combat for whatever reason even though there are no hostiles nearby (including the turret) thus failing both shadow and ghost. https://litter.catbox.moe/o8bob6.mp4

    Edit: There were some enemies at the end of the tunnel. Eliminating them prevented it from happening.

      Several gigs have scripted combat based on different conditions, nothing to be done about it. For that reason I think it's not possible to get both No-touch and Ghost at the same time in this gig.

    In the mission Spider and the Fly where you have to connect to the access point to distract the drone I've never been able to prevent the shadow objective from failing. When interacting with the access point if the drone spots you at all combat initiates immediately (I assume this is intended). The ghost objective doesn't fail if the timing is perfect (took quite a few tries).

    I'm not sure what I'm missing or doing wrong, I'm pretty sure I added all of the requirements. When I open the mod settings menu, this mod doesn't show up, and any perk that has a percentage increase like the silent footsteps or energy shield start at 0 and level up to 0. All of the mission stuff works fine though. Anyone got any ideas?

      The CET part of the mod OR Native Settings UI is not installed OR CET is not working generally. Try installing Cyber Engine Tweaks and this mod and Native Settings UI again. If CET is working you should be able to bring up the CET console using a keybind you set on first run.       The menu is in the one called MODS in the main menu.

      Sorry for the super late reply, monster hunter came out lol. i tried to reinstall the parts, i got the percentages to come back and the bonuses to work properly, but i still can't get the mods menu to work. i think that might be something else i'm doing wrong because no mods ever show up in that menu for me when they are supposed to.

    Wish the extra effort was actually worth it, because the rewards you get now is not at all worth it for how tedious it is, since the game is not build around stealth.
