Hello, I like to report a small bug I notice with this hair. it seem to have a very long line going from it to almost the floor, it only appear at some poses, when the head leans forward it seems. I tried 2 different fringes and it show up in both of them. thank you
Hiya, i love this hair i use it all the time but is there any way you can alter the physics so it doesn't clip into V's back while in a bike? other than that it's my fav hair mod.
I love this hair so much! My V's preferred hairstyle lol, so thank you so much for making it.
I was curious, would it be possible to add a way to have hair when wearing something in the head slot? it's impossible to wear anything without appearing bald :(
It is possible as of rn, but botht the hair and the head item need to be specifically fit. I'm working on something that may aid with that, no promises tho.
Looking forward to what's to come! I love your work, and of course, beggars can't be choosers, and I can't be mad if it doesn't work :)
I was wondering, since this replaces a specific hairstyle that is semi-bald, is that what it reverts to when the head item is placed on? If so, would changing the hairstyle that it replaces be a sort-of workaround? Like if it replaced a more similar looking hairstyle then you wouldn't have to do too much extra work? lol IDK what I'm talking about tho so feel free to educate me if that's not how it works <3
It would revert to the same mesh it would without this mod. This can be adjusted of course, but those hat-hair meshes are shared between many hairs, and hats aren't really commonly used. I do have a vague plan for tackling this problem tho, however it will likely require updating all hair meshes, so i don't know if i will do this, and when.
Unfortunately, a specific head garment item needs a hairstyle specifically fit or made for it. Or, a standardised rim size and location, but thats not realistic.
Well, could you replace a different, more appropriate hairstyle with this one? Or just tell me how to do it? God knows I tried, I tried so hard, but the bangs just don't appear if I replace the hairstyle 16 (for example) with yours. At least it appears at all, even partly! I've tried for a couple (or more) hours to replace the hairstyle 43, 31 and 18 with "Hime Hair for V", but it appears as a bald head EVERY. GODDAMN. TIME. I'm losing my mind.
edit1: I figured it out, thanks to Pokiehat! All I needed is to tweak the female_cco.inkcharcustomization file. I tried that before, but incorrectly, as it seems. All good now!
The inkcharcustomization is basically the file that builds the character customization screen. Using achive xl, multiple can be merged upon launching the game. This allows multiple cc extensions mods to co-exist. I think that's also where its defined which 'occupied head slot hair mesh' is used. There's only a couple of them btw.
All I needed is to change which hair piece to replace with this mod, because although it looks like V has the modded hairstyle, the game stuill treats it as the original. And the one you replaced was a buzzcut, so I redirected it to the one with the longer hair length, the one I didn't mind to overwrite. Now V has the appropriate hairstyle even when using headwear.
Sorry, currently busy with other projects. But i would recommend taking a look at wolvenkit and the wiki and attempting to do this yourself, it's quite an easy mod, look for .app/appearances/npc appearances or something along those lines. All it comes down to is changing hanakos .app to this hair instead of her own, by taking the components from the .app in this mod and pasting them into hanakos app.

So Spanish to Elder Futhark which is kind of a weird jump but I'm sure there is some online tool for that
