Hello my friends!
Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project 2.0 is now available! As you will learn in the video, version 2.0 improves almost every texture from HDRP 1.0, and also reworks many new ones that were not included in the previous version (many textures of environment, architecture, graffiti and more). I'm very pleased with the quality I managed to achieve, and I think and hope that you will enjoy. :)
There are still some lower resolution textures that are not covered in HDRP 2.0, but I don't plan any further versions any time soon, so we can say that 2.0 is currently the final version (though of course the future is unknown).
Thanks for all your support and have fun with Cyberpunk 2077!
As mentioned in the description vram usage goes up by around 1,5GB

Edit: No, it does not. Darn.
The offending texture is for the non-functional crosswalks. The functional ones are yellow, and they're OK.
Besides vending machines, imo it's the only vanilla texture I've noticed so far that I have an issue with. Replacing that texture with something that is NOT a checkered pattern would be a bugfix.
Can't have checkered patterns in games because it will cause moire patterns -- especially if they're on the ground. And especially if it's white on black. The first thing I would try is to modify the texture's mipmaps to blur the offending areas for mip levels 1+. The second thing I'd try is simply breaking the pattern up -- these are non-functional so it's safe to assume they're very old and haven't been replaced yet by night city public works.
Launched game without mods, and the game looked better with good performance on all DLSS profiles. Over the course of a week I played with various mods uninstalled, and this one was the culprit of my s#*! performance. Uninstalled this mod cranked settings High/Ultra with ultra RT using DLSS balanced and the game is consistently >100 FPS.
Hope this helps someone.
In combination with this mod the game looks beautiful Praedy's 77 retexture
