Hello my friends! Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project 2.0 is now available! As you will learn in the video, version 2.0 improves almost every texture from HDRP 1.0, and also reworks many new ones that were not included in the previous version (many textures of environment, architecture, graffiti and more). I'm very pleased with the quality I managed to achieve, and I think and hope that you will enjoy. :) There are still some lower resolution textures that are not covered in HDRP 2.0, but I don't plan any further versions any time soon, so we can say that 2.0 is currently the final version (though of course the future is unknown). Thanks for all your support and have fun with Cyberpunk 2077!
You can do both, I play on 1440p, but if you need more performance, go with 1080p, Also, I use the FSR3 Frame Generation mod, the second download that only enables the frame generation without needing to use any scaling method to gain more frames, like turn off DLSS/FSR And just enable the frame generation, you gain a lot of fps without sacrificing quality and keeps the game smooth for weak cpus, only use the frame generation inside the game, don't turn On the frame Generation inside the Gpu driver (Adrenaline for AMD's users)
Edit: It seems that the FSR3 Frame generation mod author just deleted his work for some reason 🤔
I had this game looking photorealistic with the ultra-version of this mod and ETO-4k along with GITS. I came back to it after a few weeks and it doesn't look as good to me but I can't pinpoint exactly what it is that changed. I double checked my settings, updated all the essential mods and even my NVidia driver but it just doesn't look as amazing as it did. Does anyone else feel the same or is it just me? Thanks.
Dude yes! Same here too, but it could also be a conflict with another mod, although I can't see why cause it's just texture replacement, but had the same combo, HD Reworked Quality w/ ETO 4k and GITS (+Nova LUT HDR). But I feel like it doesn't look as crisp as it did before, I might just be trippin.
not trying to knock on this guys mods but every mod that ive tried either doesnt work or it breaks my game in some way. i have a high spec pc and im always getting bad stutters or the game crashes on load. I cant get this mod or really any re-texture mod to work and i have no idea why. ive tried vortex and installing manually and nothing works. its very frustrating that texture mods work for everyone else except me
Can anyone clarify... does the "Balanced" version of the HD Reworked Mod improve textures over the games vanilla "High" textures?
Been trying out the "Ultra" version, but with the other mods I have, plus running the game at 4K RT Overdrive, with DLSS Performance + FG theres areas of the game where I can exceed 16GB of allocated VRAM.
Is HD Reworked "Balanced" an improvement over vanilla "High"? Or is HD Reworked "Balanced" essentially vanilla "High" but uses less VRAM?
Also.. With the "Ultra" version of HD Reworked im seeing over 16GB allocated VRAM in the worst areas of the game, and FPS can drop to around 60 flat... whereas without the mod its largely 80fps+ (4080 Super + 7800X3D)
Is the game trying to allocate more VRAM than I have causing reduced performance? Or allocated doesn't really matter and its about used VRAM.. which is typically under 14GB..
Yeah, of course balanced is an improvement over vanilla "high" textures. Otherwise, there would be no point in including that option at all.
When your GPU runs out of memory, it offloads data to your system memory or RAM. RAM is much, much slower than VRAM for this kind of task which is why you see much lower performance when you run out of VRAM.
thought so, thanks for the reply... i dont remember where but somehwere on the internet someone said "balanced is equal to vanilla high but uses slightly less vram"
Let me share my experience as a reference for everyone. My computer is equipped with a 4090, 32G RAM, 13900K, and 980pro. Sometimes it crashes without any obvious reason, and I can't figure out the cause. Until yesterday, when I was playing the Shadow of the Past and clicked to start the music in Berlin Memories, it crashed. I decided to investigate, and in the end, it was because of this MOD. It seems to have caused insufficient memory. I really like this MOD, but unfortunately, I can't use it anymore...

The perfect balance of quality and performance *chef's kiss*

Thank you !
4K RT Overdrive... with DLSS Performance, RR, & FG?
I have a 4080 Super, is this gonna require more than 16GB?
