It's ini tweaks from when the game came out. That alone makes me think no, since there have been so many changes since 2021. A lot of the comments here seem to conclude it can break stuff.
is there a force slow HDD parameter? i found that force slow HDD mode is clearly better due to this
"It is recommended to use SLOW HARD DISK MODE WITH THIS MOD. SLOW HARD DISK MODE PRIORITIZE LOADING OF WORLD DATA."
and a post of this mod at 07 April 2024, 12:54AM had proofed this point, but at current version game version 2.2, there is no such selection in the menu and i would really appreciate if anyone could tell me if it exists and what it is.
mod didnt really work. Kinda made it worse. My fps was originally 40-50 (with the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty - More FPS and Clear Image mod) Then i added this and it just basically ruined it went down to 20-30. Alr tried a clean install and everything still the same.
I guess through Steam? For a "clean install" you would need to remove the CP2077 folder as a whole from the Steam Directory Path since the Mods won't get removed because Steam uninstalls just the files it downloads on it's own (which is the base game + DLC), Mods are added on your own so you have to remove them on your own as well. (Alternatively you could use Vortex Mod Manager and install mods through that, or if you want to manually added Mods, clear the archive, r6 and I think the mods folder. Basically every folder in which mods/part of mods are added/required)
I downloaded the mod, deleted it because the picture became too bad, and after deleting the image became too sharp, a ladder appeared and I just can’t fix it. Changing graphics settings leads to a crash. And what should I do to reinstall?
This mod caused me a problem in quest Lucretia My Reflection, in this case, when you wait for Reed on the Basketball court, using the mod, he never appeared, after removing the .ini and finding a save that worked, everything went normal.
The mod seems to work. Got a few boost in fps, but unfortunately this mod caused at the very least a bug to one of the mission from Dakota Smith's gigs. The one where you must find Trevor

lines i edited/added to the .ini:

[Streaming/Culling]
ForceSSDMode = 1
I encourage everyone with a similar setup to try this!
*I turned async compute off though, you can do so by adding this line
[Rendering/AsyncCompute]
Enable = false

But I'm not sure what to do with this...
If you are using CET (Cyber Engine Tweaks) make sure you set "disable_async_compute": false in config.json.
Because some of the features of CET are not working right now.
Didn't change config, used Cyber Engine Tweaks to disable Async.
Game is more than playable now.

As for ForceSSDMode, my tests showed that it's better without this param..
