For those that mod might not work. Cyberpunk 2077 has issues with vibration on non steam version. I fixed this by simply adding GoG CP2077 to steam library as a non-steam game, then simply open controller settings in steam and select xbox and other controller (bottom option), then just start game through steam app and that's how I got vibrations working.
I also use this method but it stopped working, 6th of February after stem update. It still says loading profile when game starts but no vibration. Tested gamepad with other game just to be sure gamepad didn't die, afther trying random game I realize how nice thing it is, properly implemented vibration.
Ads a lot of immersion! Thanks. It´s there a way to use the rumble even when i switch to mouse and keyboard? I used to play battlefield 3 with my mouse and keyboard but with the controller in my leg, so i can feel the feedback and have the mouse precision. For me is the ultimate immersion way to play. :)
So here's my quick feedback for the current version of the mod, version 1. Please don't get this wrong, but the feedback is mostly negative, I hope you find the problems and can improve on the mod.
With any of the two version 1 variants installed (normal and light), the game crashes on exit. No real harm, but the crash reporter opens and asks if I want to send the report. Only happens with the mod installed, never without.
The normal version of the mod is way too strong.
The light version of the mod is still too strong, imho.
For some reason only the left trigger rumble is being used. I checked via the Xbox Controller app, all rumble motors are working fine in my Elite Series 2, so no hardware problem and I'm using no profile with the game, it's the standard configuration. Also latest firmware and connected via the Microsoft Wireless Adapter.
I would generally recommend the mod for those who only play with the controller, as in gunplay and stuff. I would not recommend it for pure driving or driving in general though. Partly because of points two and three above, but also because the game currently only gives feedback when you drive over something on the road. There is no gas / brake feedback. So it's more natural for the body of the controller to rumble as the body of the car is simulated.
Same for me, only the left trigger with the Elite Series 2. Note: I'm using reWASD to add a few minor controls. Jump/Dash through the paddles.
Note 2: I thought it was something I had screwed up because I had set a slight vibration on the left trigger using reWASD when I aim or hack simply because... wtf CDPR! I bought this controller for CyberPunk only to find out it doesn't work at all, or as the previous poster said, hitting bumps in the road. So yeah, I figured it was a coincidence the left trigger vibrating while driving when it happened to be the only one vibrating after the mod.

Really stoked for the potential here.
Would love this for my 360 controller.
