CharLi v2.2 is released. See the extensive Changelog for details.
CharLi Legacy v1.0 released which supports Patch 1.31/1.52 with some limitations.

    ***
CharLi v2.2 seems to work just fine with Patch v2.2 (+PL) and CET 1.34.1. Please report any Bugs you may encounter. Report CET Bugs please directly to GitHub.
    ***

    Roadmap for v2.3:
    - clean up code
    - toggle local shadow casting .. DONE
    - update lite version with features from 2.2
    - add the color picker to the group settings
    - add "favorite" preset and add keybind to load it

    Suggestions/Wishlist:
    - Presets (premade Setups, exporting Groups/Setups)
    - Flip Lightblockers to see the visible Side (Beethy)

    Low Priority:
    - "Stealth" Mode, where everything is hidden when not in Photomode (idea i had)
    - Specific Light Overrides (Color, Intensity, Position) .. WORKS, NEEDS CONTROLS IN UI

    Not possible:
    - Diffuse & Specular Contribution (romelsalwi)
    - Scaling the Light itself (CyanideX)

Suggestions are still welcome! And many thanks for all the awesome Shots you posted! :-)

Thank you so much for all of your hard work on this mod - it is truly amazing.  I have spent more time setting up lighting in photos than I have taking them, but that's not the case anymore.  It's so simple to set up the lighting I want, then start shooting away.  This couldn't be more perfect and is a must have for anyone looking to take great photos.

Since the game console was updated to ver 2.21, a red text warning message has appeared in CET.What does this mean?If you uninstall ver 2.2 of CharLi, this warning message will disappear.

Wonderful mod. I'm having a lot of fun with it.
Is there a way to make the "bulb" catchment invisible in the character's eye? I understand you can remove the physical object of the light source by toggling mesh, but for example with a favelas light activated, the shining line of the light source can still be seen in the catchment of the character's eye, whether the mesh is on or off.

I was just saying the other week that it would be nice to have something like Facelight in SKyrim to help light up dark spaces for pics. You mod is great. can make lighting look very natural and go with the environment.

Can someone explain what the Lightblocker does? I’m not sure if I’m using it wrong or if it just doesn’t work for me

i believe its for making something to replicate photo 4 from the mod page, so it looks like light is coming through shutters

you are right, picture 4 explains it correctly. it was a requested feature and works only in raytracing and pathtracing due the correct light calculation. it's an artistic tool, to create shadow

Hey! I’ve made a Chinese translation patch for this mod, so Chinese players can enjoy it too! If you're okay with it, I'll keep it up. If not, I’ll delete it right away. Hope you don’t mind! 😊

it's fine for me, keep it up.

i can try to make it more translation friendly with lowering the amount of icons used, but hard without sacrificing the "style" on CharLi. :-)

No need to change the icon, it's already good as it is.

Without explanation and/or detailed instructions, I have a hard time seeing how to use such a complex Mod,
which must have certainly required considerable work, I have no doubt on this point.

Thank you for your modding efforts, because indeed the IG photo tool of Cyberpunk is pathetically mediocre,
as are many other points of this game, which requires an incredible amount of Mods (300 for me) to make it usable and interesting.

i tried to write some kind of guide, but it's difficult without going into photography as well.

the easy way to desribe it, you look from above on your V and a circle of light surrounds it. ;-)

I'm on game version 2.2.1 and the spawned lights no longer rotate or follow V in the photomode :(

Your mods still work despite the many updates including this update of the lights in Photomode that I had a lot of trouble understanding compared to your light mod which is very practical and easy to use! I highly recommend it!! :)

With the Release of Patch 2.2 of Cyberpunk they integrated some lighting options into Photomode. I personally think it doesn't match the scale and versatility of CharLi, but i'm eager to hear other opinions. So i can better decide on the Future of CharLi.

they basically added a simpler version of your mod to the game, but your mod still has more options and is better than the in game version, it was basically an update for console players imo

Shyperrs comment is on point. This update doesn't make CharLi obsolete at all.

I agree that it's an update for console users. I love your lighting suite, it allowed me to really enhance my pictures and I would love to have it still in the 2.2 version 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Agreed. Your mod is one of the absolute best. Without it I don't think I can spend one minute in photo mode. Photos are just awful without it.

When you say diffuse/specular contribution not possible, do you mean that you can't add a slider for how soft or harsh you want the light to be? I love having the spotlight option and the large industrial type lights which seem like soft lights. If you could add an option to let us control the "softness" of the lights, I think that would be rad.
