If you bought and installed the Phantom Liberty DLC you no longer need this mod. Yet it won't harm if you forget to remove it as it adjusts to the changing conditions - that's the advantage of software based runtime mods over hardcoded game replacer files mods.
Updated the files to support the game 2.0 version. Initially, it was designed to disable itself in this version as it had been supposed to be released with the Phantom Liberty DLC. However, as the game developer decided to release it earlier, I updated the mod to work during the transition time.
- The new redscript edition is now available, thanks to svarmod's idea, which allows for overcoming compatibility issues across different game versions. - The changes to the CET edition are merely cosmetic, designed to synchronize with the redscript edition and address some insignificant typos in its Lua file.
Which edition should I use? Both editions provide the same functionality. The differences come from their dependencies, and the choice ultimately depends on your preferences. For more details, please refer to the updated Description.
Thank you for this; it's a must-have! Now I finally can exit my game again without killing it by ALT+F4. ;)
What a stupid design choice to add it to the UI buttons line... honestly.
Little constructive feedback: I though have had a hard time on finding your mod through Nexus search bar, as I was looking for classic terms like [Main menu] + [Phantom Liberty] + [ads] or [ad removal]. I googled it and found the mod through it then, but.. just as a tiny user-feedback for accessibility/reach. :)
Anyways, thanks again, best wishes, health and inspiration!
Thanks for this. I reverted to 1.63 due to all the 2.0 issues + not being a fan of the changes. I have no plans to buy the DLC, and having that banner there all the time was starting to grate on my nerves.
I don't own Phantom Liberty and yet the cyber engine tweaks log says "Kill Phantom Liberty DLC banner ad 1.1.0 Not needed in this game version. The mod is inactive now." Edit: nvm I'm retarded and forgot to update the mod.
I purchased it, and the game doesn't recognize due to error so asks me to redownload the expansion lol This is helpful mod thank you! I used another mod before to change menu but can't trust anything to work now 😅
Thank you. Please make sure you run matching CET version - the game has received hotfixes in recent days and so the CET has been updated today. And actually the redscript edition is meant to handle cases when the game and the CET versions go out of sync, disabling CET mods in effect
There is the check in the game code. There is also more code to handle different game purchase states and already some code supporting the new game. But.. it looks someone decided the commercial should stay on your screen without even giving you any choice. So I decided to give you the choice
it helps because - Mod Setting - it add extra line to the main menu so - the new Phantom Liberty Banner blocks the - Quit Option this mod will gain more Downloads when the new mod setting update will be released
