I have not tested this with native HDR, so I've no clue how it will look for you if you use your monitor's native HDR instead of this one. You can try, there's nothing to lose.
In cyberpunk, Ray Tracing does not replace SSR, but rather alters it's appearance. So turning it off would lead to worse reflections. If you disable RT reflection, SSR will then use a low resolution- for example a 16*16px of the screen that it then downscales to 1px) input image for the calculation of the reflections. The reason to use a low resolution image as a source is that this way the sampler can sample more rays in less time- since the resolution is lower- so in the end, you will see less noise on the screen. If you enable RT Reflections, the ray tracer casts rays from an image plane and right after the first bounce, it goes back to the rasterized data. For example, you can find that it uses Cubemaps & GI system if you focus on the reflected images on glossy objects like car's windshield, or glass. This way, it can't benefit from RTAO(Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion), RT Lighting/RTGI and RT Shadows on the reflected surfaces.. but SSR can. So- if there is enough data on-screen, it uses SSR for reflections with 0 roughness. If there isn't enough data, it just shows RT reflections. If you enable RT while you have SSR enabled, it even uses a full resolution image for it(for SSR). There will always be a distance(from the player character) where RT cuts off and SSR takes over.
This is correct, and I for one was a little surprised that RT reflections didn't handle all reflections. Plus, with RT reflections you'll lose some minor things like bloom, making reflections look rather flat. Game's own SSR at Psycho isn't bullcrap to be honest, but RT reflections adds to the overall immersion though.
I have tested RTGI with Cyberpunk and to be fair, there is minimal visual improvement, if there even is some. The only thing RTGI does in this case, even when correctly set up, is that is just takes FPS without any benefit. This might be a matter of opinion, but like I said, I don't see any difference with having it vs not having it in this case. His RTGI shader is kind of useless if a game already has RT & proper Ambient Occlusion implemented. Edit: Just for clarification: Yes, I did use the highest tier of his RTGI available.
Game has RT global illumination, and even path tracing, so RTGI ends up being completely unnecessary. What ReShade is doing is applying effects on top of the game, like an overlay, which will look really strange when seeing AO through smoke and light rays. I think the preset looks fine to be frank.
I am using FrameGeneration and it does work work for me. The problem must've been in the Overlay his game's "launcher", like GoG is using. These tend to cause issues sometimes. The issue could also be somewhere else, but it's hard to pin-point without additional information like used mods etc.
Disable GOG Galaxy Overlay fixed reshade for me. I use frame generation and no crashes thus far with the overlay disabled.
I gave up on ReShade after the CP2077 2.0 update since it kept crashing even on a vanilla install. Didn't even think to disable the GOG overlay. ReShade is now working again, using it with FG, RT and RR on Ultra preset, no issues or crashes. :)

My mod doesn't want to run. I installed it as per the instructions, but no overlay pops up.
I have a GoG version. Can you advise, please? Thanks.
Thanks

And you need the the 5€ or the 9€ thanks upfront.

-Personally i prefer: FilmGrain & Lens Flare OFF.
-No crashes whit 2.0 update.
Thanks for your work!
