I still get the blue lines rising from his body, does this mod not remove those and only the full cover data glitch?

Try the FX Begone version (either the glitch file, AIO, or the nuke) just to see if that removes the effect. It it helps, I will update this mod to include the changes.

I use the FX Begone Johnny Glitch remover, and it works to remove the largest glitch effects, but it retains the small lines that pulse around him.

Was the initial issue this mod was meant to fix officially patched? I downloaded it at the start of my new play-through thinking it would help fix a reoccurring problem I have where Johnny's "relic glitch" noises are still heard after he disappears. I noticed however it seems to have some sort of affect with screen transitions or wipes, one I really noticed is when Johnny is being soulkilled (Soulkillered?) and it removes the effects completely and just leaves Johnny staring at Saburo until it cuts to black.

aside from removing it from johnny, does this also remove the effect from V? with the old Relic Be Gone mod, it stopped most of the random events where V has the relic flare-up and s/he's all like "ugh... i can't... fooo" .. getting rid of that would be lovely. Or like when you go to see hanako at Embers, the relic starts freaking out.. cant take any good screenshots bc the relic effect is everywhere

Is this the same as the "FX Begone - Johnny Glitch" of the "FX Begone" package?

It's the same, yes. I only update this one for those that may be looking for a persistent glitch fix and may be easier to find. Unfortunately, I happened to run into one the other day with my relic FX never going away (it seems CDPR didn't fix it entirely) and resorted to using this mod to fix it. 😅

I have only one suggestion, rename this mod to "Glitch, please!" with a picture of a sassy looking Silverhand giving shade.
(In case no one understands the reference... I am old now... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitch_Please)

RCDP are so amateurs! Do they leave such a bug in the game?
As if programmers have no memory! If they rewrote a part, they already forget what they did.
Or there is no usable communication within the office.
Either way, these developers are one of the most flawed bunch.
Typical Eastern European attitude. (I'm from there too, so I know.)

Relax. The game is gigantic... and btw. it has been adressed by CDPR.
