It seems CDPR went way beyond the curve for preventing saving during specific times. After the update 2.02 is no longer possible saving while in combat and there are probably a few more cases that might have been blocked as well.
This mod can't do anything about it because the code for saving the game is actually unreachable for redscript or redmod.
So, this is what we are left with: saving through dialogs.
I will create a new release of this mod preventing the saving message from appearing while in combat, but that's pretty much everything I can do. I considered changing the mechanics of being in combat but I figure this could cause bigger issues in other places. So... that's it.
Lifesaver. For some reason, the game didn't want to allow me to save during any gig/mission AT ALL (not just in combat, I had to do the entire thing on first try or repeat from the beginning). Then I downloaded this mod.. The first time it said I can't save but autosaved due to this mod, and since then it looks like I can save normally.
damn i need that mod, i m having a troublesome bug that lock me from saving for life, rn my only way of saving is sleeping in my appart, for some weird reason this is the only possible way to save, and the only moment the game will ever save
I've got the "no save" bug right now, I'm level 9 and just starting The heist. I was able to save just before meeting Jackie, after that, no more saving. I played to the end of the Heist and died in the garage. woke up in the apartment prior to the heist. I really need tis mod to work now that CDPR is done with it.

Don't work in 2.21, can you make an update or tell me how can I update that please ?
