Did number of mod slots changed between "legacy", and PL? In "legacy" Moron Labe has 4 mod slots, and PL only 2, even with this mod. Is it possible to change it back?
Woohoo, still working as advertised, with the recent/new game Patch 2.2 (+ 2.21) update, hella nice! \o/ ♥ (Steam; Manual install; I don't use Vortex/MO2)
Again, THANK YOU tduality for this hella preem and essential mod, and its year+ of max nova service (it boggles the mind EVEN MORE why CDPR limited/removed this hella fun feature)!! o7 ♥

Patch 2.21
Vanilla - Weapons' mods slots are hidden and not available for use.
Modded - Weapons' mods slots are unlocked and available for use again. A feature that was originally available when the game first launched/released, but for whatever reason CDPR decided to limit (and in some cases remove entirely) the ability to add mods to any/all weapons.

Side Note: I'm currently low level (due to having restarted a New Game from scratch) and unable to get my hands on (nor craft for that matter, lol) higher tier melee weapons, but the mods slots are indeed also working with melee weapons (checked functionalities using temporary cheats, lol). Crafted weapons' mods slots functionalities (as mentioned on the description page) are also still working as advertised. :)
Extra Iconics has an "optional" file which utilizes this mod. This mod is more like a resource to enable Iconics to have slots, while modded weapons from Nexus tend to have optional download files to use This mod's ability.
