Is there any way to enlarge the text in the sell/buy/loot UI? When I'm trying to sell something, hovering over the item shows me relevant information in a small box between my inventory and the merchant. However, the text there is very small and difficult to read. Is there any way to enlarge that text somehow?
Hey so- I love this mode BUT, I prefer the classic interaction mode. For some reason this mod chose to remove character portraits, which is no fun, and also nobody acknowledges quest locations? Like when you need to find "X-residence" for example. Scratch that last part, just seems to be the quest I was testing on.
Would it be alright to ask for a variant of this mod with the classic speech UI in tact?
Hi there, For those that can't make the new inventory UI to work, make sure you are not using Expanded Info mod. The load order doesn't change anything.
This mod breaks the G to exit dialogue hotkey.... any chance of a fix, or better, make a general exit all menu hotkey? Like have Tab or right mouse to exit all menus.
BTW, you can use my translation too. To "englishify" this mod, just delete the "Text\mod_uncannyui.ru.txt" file.
In comparison to this version, there are
a couple of bug fixes.
the textures are moved out of the .dfmod, so you can easily replace with your preferable skin and not waste the precious kilobytes of disk space. Kidding. It just proved to be the best for textures to render not-blurred.
a new setting that I personally like: you can keep the world visible while waiting. It's nice to see how the sun and shadows moves with time.
there are now tooltips on the icons of sections of the inventory.
portrait could be places on the left
the size of the portrait could be set in range of values
tried every tips to make this UI work but non of them work.
1) put the mod in the lowest modloader position. 2) rename every .PNG files into .png 3) activate and deactivate compresed texture for mods in DF Unity
doesnt work for me neither, rest menu does, inventory does not... its old mod, might need to be rebuild but the mod author does not come back to DFU much so IDK
Same here. I just want it for the dialogue window. I'm trying to run without DREAM for more vanilla world, Kuzyk Interface (darker paper) for higher resolution DREAM-like UI, Uncanny Interface for dialogue, Kuzyk Uncanny Interface patch. But can't find a combination that works.
I have to settle on Modern Dialogue instead which is also nice but some of the buttons for example polite, normal, blunt don't show. Still able to click the box but the text isn't displayed. Manually going in and removing the texture for dialogue from Kuzyk Interface works, so maybe you can try removing files from the Dream interface that aren't displaying correctly and replacing them with different mods.
Yeah, I'm also having a problem with not being able to override the inventory interface graphic. Everything else works fine. I'm using Kuzyk myself. I noticed someone below mentioned that things work in Windows. Could this be something to do with case sensitivity? Should we try to modify the files or the UI directory? Any thoughts?

For inventory when looting, any chance a "Take all and close" button could be added?
