There is a knightly order quest "The Artifact" that presents only out-of-character or poor gameplay results for my current playthrough. You get offered a shot at the Auriel Bow by a witch who demands that you kidnap a kid (her granddaughter) to receive the dungeon location of the item. If you grab the kid and bypass all her rescuers you condemn her to a life of slavery. If you tell the witch to stuff it you get a "fail quest" and lost rep. I reloaded an earlier save because these are just bad choices even for a morally grey thief. In Skyrim, you would just grab the kid, and as soon as the witch gave you the location you, of course, would then shank her, free the kid, and then maybe cut the kid in with a stack of gold through the gifting menu. As soon as I'm done with the main quest I'm going to see if this plugin gets me another shot at that bow.
Great mod, especially for a werewolf character. Unfortunately had to temporarily disable it when doing the final main quest, as it replaces the Sheogorath sprite with a sprite of a statue.
The mod seems to work as intended but I do get these errors in my log "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at KillNPC.Update () [0x0000b] in <3e93b4fc9ea845c280ae08225eb92efd>:0". I'm assuming this is because I'm using Worlds of Daggerfall and Beautiful Cities Overhaul as you mentioned in the description but just want to make sure it's not a problem.
Hi, this mod is awesome, but I've noticed I have to press the Enter key to enter cursor mode when surrendering to the guards after killing an NPC inside a residence, otherwise there is no cursor and I can't click in the veredict messages. Is this normal or is this some kind of bug?
If it's a bug, I was doing a quest that involved killing a monster inside a residence, but I tried killing other NPCs in other residences and the cursor didn't appear either. Maybe having the local quest active causes it?
Anyhow I can just enter cursor mode and it works fine so... I'm keeping it on
Love this mod since I was able to kill Gortwog for forcing me to go through his garbage excuse for a castle and be of 0 use during the main quest. 10/10 mod:)
For anyone having issues. I had to disable vanilla enhanced animated people mod. Then it works. You can still have all the other vanilla enhanced mods on.
I'd like to make important NPC's like those into actual enemies via DEX and do something like this. No guarantee on that. I'd definitely want to do something cool like that.
