You can then open it in Note pad and change the steam user ID to yours. Locate UserID in the open save file on Notepad. Once you do this, NO MORE corruption! I've followed the guide to change the UserID, but unfortunately I can only select the very first save (Which is set to normal) and all the other slots are showing up as corrupted, any idea of what could be the cause?
Hey, I am stuck on step 3, I am certain I followed the instructions correctly, But I cannot get the Json and it says Error: Os { code: 5, kind: PermissionDenied, message: "Access is denied." }. Am I missing something?

I dont get it. I followed every step, I can access the save file in the game and play, but 1) it doesnt trigger any achievements and 2) it gives me error that it cannot write new saves. Anybody have the same problem?

Do you want achievements or a NG+ save with all unlocks from the start? If achievements are a big deal to you, then collect everything manually and delete my save.
It took some digging to make it work, but I matched your save to my steam id and it works fine. Thank you for this badass save. I leave you a donation for your work.
Care to explain how or where you found how to match to steam ID? ALL OF THE SAVES are titled the exact same "keen_savegame_0_0" whether its yours or his or mine..... How to change this STEAM ID crap on the save?

You are able to play this save game offline? Then play offline and donate the man for his work, problem is solved but if you wanna play online then you need to open the save file in a hex editor or a sjason reader and locate the line that represents your save/ launcher ID. It's super simple, took me about 10 min to do.
you follow the tutorial thats on the steam link that he gave than when you get to decoding it open it with the numpad go to edit than click find do user id and than see your user id from your normal save from your game and than his user id they should be different so there should like value under the save id thats where you put yours and his yours should be different than his than as i said you get your user id copy it and place into the value thats below the user id if you still dont understand just try and contact me here i will try and make you understand it more

I can get this working with just playing "Offline", but going online corrupts the save. The only thing that's bothering me is, that there is nothing anywhere at all online that speaks of changing the save game's UserID.
The save is simply: "keen_savegame_0_0"
Which is exactly the same as ANY Darksiders WM Edition save. Where is the UserID to change? Do I have to HACK apart the save file?
It only worked once (even offline) and then got corrupted. But yes, I figured out how to hack apart the save file and make it work flawlessly. It's pretty easy if you follow this guide here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2044780766
hello, pls help In the last step, I tried to convert from sav to json, but when I press the command, I get Error: Error line 0 colunm 0, I tried several ways until I used an online file converter, but it didn't work either, try using another one. method and I couldn't understand it.

can you make a save with only the weapon enchantments and abyssal armor available from beginning.
