    Hey so before this mod my controller used to work with this game, and now it doesn't pick up my controller. Is there a setting or mod that lets me use controller with this mod?

    How do I even change the settings to have a controller? GUI doesn't seem to have a gamepad option and when I make one it won't launch the game.

    When you get into the game it no longer responds to any keys, so its completely unusable.

      I get the same issue. None of the mapped keyboard keys work

      overall the game (or DSFIX i should say) doesn't seem to work that good (Windows 11).

      I wanted to start working on my mod again and add many new textures i've done for the game, but it just doesn't read any of the textures i provide, tried both png and dds. It used to work without issues. Too bad, this was such a great game and would've been fun to make a good graphics mod for it.

    so when i open the games it pops out something telling me ''pattern mismatch for hint 00DB83D0 in mode 0 with offset 0'' any known fix?

    Anyone get this to work as of july 2021? I installed the mod per the instructions and now the game won't even open. Not sure what to do. I've been messing around with various settings for DSfix to no avail.
     
    Edit: I reinstalled the whole game, then I installed just DSFix. Works good enough for me. Idk what the issue was, but I do not think it was DSFix

      I got it working with no problems other than it was conflicting with my previously installed mods, I deleted my dsfix folder and tweaked a little the DSfix settings. Game looks really good, I honestly downloaded it just for the better UI and more visible boss health bars

    Hello, after installing this mod, my controller (xbox One) stopped working, even though it's still detected by the system. Can I fix this some how?

      I don't know, i use mouse and keyboard, but did you bind the remote into the DarkSoulsInputCustomizer, that may fix it

      Open your DSFix settings and there is a dll wrapper for the inputs, change it to none as by default
      My 360 controller wasn't working either and that fixed it, they game is heavily modded for keyboard+mouse

    hello, in my game DarkSoulsInputCustomizer gives me the following error: unsupported game version, please refer to the readme file for details

      The issue that you are going through, I have no idea how or why its doing, that I have use for a while with no issue. But I can only think of two issues: first you are using an older version of the game, either a older steam version that you haven't updated or a older pirated version. The second issue is you don’t have all of the necessary components to run it: DirectX, Vcruntime, or NET Framework.

      Ultimately I would recommend going to DarkSoulsInputCustomizer nexus and re-download it there. https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/1273/
