hello ash, i have another retex idea: dark golden metal with dark red cloth. check out the golden artorias armour on dark souls nexus to see what i mean. i think it would fit alva really great. Would be awesome
ps: any plans on making an elite version of the eleum loyce greatsword (maybe also with golden theme^^)? its my favourite weapon as its a great sword wielded like a longsword, always wear it with your black alva reborn^^
To be 100% honest i disagree. But to each their own, huh? There are other Alva mods around for you to use or stick with the OG.
Edit: Looking over the textures to see what you were complaining about... There are only a few color changes over the original. I darkened the boots, gauntlets (to match the boots) and the bottle. I also changed the goofy leather thigh guard to metal. Other than that 90% of the colors are accurate or extremely close to the original. So i'm not sure how you think the colors are "weird".
I think you missed the whole point of this mod to begin with. I wanted to return Alva's armor to a state where it wasn't completely destroyed and corroded and to a time where it was worn but mostly new and not a patchwork piece of garbage.
Doing the butcher knife right now and i'm pondering other skybox projects.
That said, feel free to always make a request but just understand that i get a lot of them and i also have personal mods that may come first. So ask away.
will you make version with lower textures? its really awesome looking, but its really anoying whne you pvp someone and then someone's shade spawns on bonfire
Thanks for making my favorite armor set in the game even more awesome! The black is beautiful and fits perfectly with the king's shield and my dark knight theme build. Endorsed! I hope Leo and Crusty are enjoying this mod while they play Dark Souls 2 in kitty heaven.
(if kitty heaven doesn't have dark souls 2 then it ain't kitty heaven!)
Dude, amazing work on all the options. I haven't checked the less shiny ones yet, only the optional gauntlets and leggings and appreciate the variety.
I have a question, I know part of what makes this armor so cool is the cloth but I was wondering if its possible to remove it, specifically the piece on the shoulder. I'm interested to see how the armor looks without it. I know I've seen someone else redo the Faraam set with no fur so I'm curious if something like that is possible with the Alva set.
Edit: It can be significantly reduced but not gotten rid of completely. Things something a tiny bit smaller than the neck wrap on the Elite Knight Set. A little smaller but very similar in shape. I could try to do a smaller version but i'm not sure how it'd look.
Sorry to hear about your kitties. Dunno what I'd do without my little guy. Just wanted to thank you for all your work. Your mods are the best on the site for DS2, and cover pretty much all of the go to weapons on my main. You definitely deserve a break.
Thanks, it's nice of you to say. It's really weird without them here. As for me taking a break... it's not working out too well lol. I'm getting *very* antsy and competitive. I'll start bigger projects again soon but for now i'm doing simple stuff. This time is giving me a chance to finish the small stuff i've wanted to do.
And i appreciate your support. I see that you have endorsed a bunch of my files and that means A LOT. So thanks again.
awww dude im so sorry you're cats passed, I have had many that I have loved over the course of my life, it's always hard. Good luck and thanks for everything you've done.
Yeah and we almost had a new incident today, as if we haven't had enough tragedy recently! These cats are going wild! Our kitten somehow knocked the vent tube off the bottom of the dryer and climbed in it without us knowing! Thank goodness she went crazy as soon as it was turned on or who knows what would have happened...
